As you enter the store you are immediately immersed in a unique atmosphere. This has always been the perfect experience for the perfect purchase providing Alaska’s amazing culture within a perfect merchandised environment.

This unique gift/souvenir shop has many “truly” Alaskan made items supporting local artists and not your mass produced China gifts found everywhere else. A lot of the items are one of a kind and can’t be found anywhere else. Prices are a little higher here but again, they are genuine Alaskan.
We walked in here just to browse and $160 later had the gifts we were seeking.
I would say the only downfall to this place is location. It is not in town near all the other shops but fortunately we were staying in midtown so it was nearby.
Definitely worth a visit.

The charming staff are very knowledgeable of the local artisans and their unique craft. Many authentic items to choose from and pelts, oh the pelts! I cannot return home from Alaska without a trip to Alaska Fur Exchange.

I cannot recommend this place more highly. The customer service was exemplary. While they did have probably 300 Tlingit hand drums in stock, they didn’t have any with a fox motif. The owner took me into the office and found an image that he then gave to the local artist to create for me OVERNIGHT!! I am so pleased with this purchase and this store.

Bill was so kind and helpful, as were everyone else who worked there! We popped in on our way to the farmers market and ended up leaving with so many beautiful pieces. If you're in Anchorage, definitely check it out!!
