This is a must do if you are traveling to the Kenai Peninsula! We caught our silver salmon limit within an hour and were able to spend the rest of the time enjoying the wildlife and scenery. There were grizzly bears within a few meters from our boat and so many bald eagles! At the end the pilot took us over a glacier. Truly an unforgettable experience!

Mark’s operation is as advertised, with 3rd party lodging as well from Gerry (Two Fish Cabin) making this a perfect trip with my father and son. All expectations exceeded. We were fortunate to have Mark himself one day, and Clayton for two days. Both amazing in their knowledge of the river and its honey holes for Silvers. Thanks guys!

Fishing was fantastic! I went on a fly out trip and we caught our limit within a couple hours! The guide Ian was very knowledgeable, professional, and easy to chat with and get along with! When we got back the cabins were clean, tidy, and very comfortable! Mark and Cindy communicated well and were very pleasant to chat with!

My friend and my daughter decided to take a girls fishing trip last summer with Alaska Fishing with Mark Glassmaker. It was a blast!! I can’t say enough about our guide Clayton. He was professional, patient and fun. They had all the fishing gear. They even had waders. We expected to be on the river all day, but Clayton got us into a honey hole and we were slamming them one after another. We caught our limit in no time!!! It was so exciting! I’ll for sure be going with them again. If you want a great experience that you will remember for a lifetime, I suggest giving them a call.

We spent a week at Alaska Fishing with Mark Glassmaker and had a great time! It was so nice working with Cindy to get the trips scheduled. She kept us very informed on any changes or times we were to meet our guides to fish. The Edgewater 2 cabin was perfect for us and very clean, kitchen was stocked and beds were very comfortable! We caught our limit of fish every trip and the processors at Tanners were very helpful. We did two Kenai river trips, Fly-In, which was awesome and a Halibut trip. This was our second vacation with them and we will be back soon for more fishing. We can't thank them enough for an amazing week.

We scheduled just a half day king salmon, trip with Mark and his crew. The day before Mark called and said that the Sockeyes were hitting better than the king salmon and asked us if we wanted to switch. Which we readily agreed to (and glad we followed his advice) We were slated to, go a half day with Chris turned out to be a full day, which was amazing. Chris is by far one of the best guides I’ve ever been with. He was patient with younger adults and you know he really enjoy his job. He was excited about our successes and encouraged us during our failures. Even when it took my daughter six hours just to catch one fish, he remain positive the entire time, and was excited for her and her success. “The girl who wouldn’t give up” thanks again Chris for a wonderful day. And thanks Mark and Cindy for setting up. Such amazing guides.

Starting with the initial calls I had with both Mark and Cindy who helped and advise me to plan our trip, and ending with seeing the Moose right on our driveway as we left the property, we had an absolutely fantastic experience at the Glassmakers! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Edgewater One cabin for 3 nights. The cabin was very clean, comfortable, and the view of the Kenai River is outstanding while grilling fish from the deck. We had one float trip fishing on the Kasilof river with Clayton and one fly out fishing trip with Ian. Both guides were very good, taking the time to help and teach me and my 3 kids. We all got our limits of Sockeye on both days. It was colder than I expected for late June, and we had rain off and on, but we were prepared. The fish and wildlife weren't bothered by it, so neither were we!
We did catch a lucky break that the fly out day was not cancelled due to the weather. Seeing a Brown bear mama and her 3 cubs going after the same fish that we were from 15 yards away was absolutely surreal, a moment we will never forget. Thank you, Mark and Cindy!

We fished with Mark’s guides for 5 fishing trips over 7 days. Class act. We fished for sockeyes for 2 days (limits), halibut for one, silvers for 1 (limits) and trout for 1. The fly out trip for silvers was the best experience of my life, truly amazing taking off and landing on the water! My wife and kids loved it. Fantastic trip and we will be coming back again.
