Chipotle turkey is very good. You really cannot go wrong ordering anything from here. From breads, to pastries, to hot and cold sandwiches.

I always love the complimentary piece of fresh bread and butter. Such a well run business on many fronts.

Delicious! My favorite breakfast sandwich is the Red Rooster on Rye- absolutely recommend. The bread selection is also wonderful. Some of their more popular loaves sell out earlier though so I’d recommend going earlier in the day if you want to grab a whole loaf. I like that they offer samples while you wait, which are also very decent in size btw! Coffee selection is limited, but still good for what you get and the staff are very friendly! Overall, definitely a place that you’ll go to more than once.

Wow! This place was amazing! We were met with friendly smiles whom offered up huge samples of their different breads. We managed to save room for a couple of sandwiches that were just as amazing! Their cinnamon roll, ham and cheese roll, and the smoked salmon sandwich will have you coming back for more! I really wished I had smuggled some back in my suitcase! ~sigh~ We will return on our next visit to Anchorage.

Stopped in late in the afternoon so they were out of several of the breads but picked out the honey wheat to go with a chowder my husband made for dinner. It was so good! The bread was the perfect texture/moisture. Will definitely stop in again!

The bread is fantastic and it makes for a great sandwich. 5 stars for the fresh bread and flavorful sandwiches. Only reason it isn’t 5 stars in the rating, they seemed to get the orders out of order when being made. I know some sandwiches will take longer than others but I got my sandwich and my son, who ordered right after me, took much longer. Several people who ordered after us left with sandwiches in hand. But I will definitely recommend this place to friends and be repeat customer when I’m in town.

Too many restaurants and businesses lately are taking the easy route, have poor customer service, cheap quality, etc. That is NEVER the case with Great Harvest Bread! They have phenomenal customer service and fabulous quality food. You will not be disappointed choosing this as your option for any meal.

Updated review, been back 3 times now and I’m an out of towner. Love this place. Great smell of baked bread when you walk it. Samples can help decide your order. Generous slice a bread as the sample. Extremely friendly staff. This is the turkey bacon apple. Very delicious!

Was excited to come get a cinnamon roll. I asked if we could eat it here to which they said no, even though there were tables empty. She said they don’t have a way to warm it up. You’re a bakery for crying out loud. Get a microwave and plates and get people excited to come back and share a delicious treat. Bought the cinnamon roll and will take it home.
