Whether your Subaru is stock or modified, this is the shop to trust your vehicle to. Subie Savers literally saved the highly modified engine in my 2002 Subaru WRX. In 2023 a different certified Subaru shop replaced the water pump, they chose not to replace the timing belt and it was not reinstalled properly. This caused the timing belt to begin to delaminate; had it come apart, the engine would have been destroyed.

Subie Savers' inspection caught this issue, their work is done right, and they only use OEM Subaru parts. Repairing a stock Subaru would be a snap for this team; for those of us driving WRX's, STI's, especially those which have been modified, Subie Savers is the only shop in Anchorage to use. I know this from experience with three Subaru specialty shops over the years...happy to have found these guys.

I’ve had multiple head gasket/engine reseals, timing belt services, and engine swaps done at subie savers and the team they have are awesome. Never any problems with the repairs, honest and don’t try to sell me on stuff I don’t need, efficient and thorough. The only shop I trust with my cars, I would give them 10 stars if I could.

My daughter actually purchased a Ford escape recently from one of the mechanics at Subie Savers named Michael. He was so honest and courteous with her. He went above and beyond to make sure the car that she purchased from him was in the best shape possible and answered all of her questions. We have not used the services of this auto shop, but just judging by the great service my daughter received from this employee, we would definitely recommend this place to get your car repaired and appreciate that they are a place of integrity. I would recommend these guys hands over fist for any repair. They have done head gaskets and a full engine reseal on my Subaru and got it back to me the quickest turnaround I have ever experienced. They did suspension bushings due to the rough roads we have all winter and did extremely good work, with just as quick turnaround. I’ll say it again, HIGHLY recommend!
