Hanna was amazing with our son, Reed’s, senior pictures. Reed wanted a yearbook picture in a mountain setting. Not only was the location perfect, in true Relic fashion, the session was laid back and easy. The mom in me wanted more than one photo, and Hanna captured Reed beautifully in dozens of shots. In the end, the most important thing was that Reed is happy with the photographs and the experience.

Using Relic was an easy choice for his senior pictures since we have used Relic four or five times in the past. Leaving them an updated review is long over due, so I'll add that each experience we've had both with Hanna, and Heidi, or when working with them together, has been amazing.They make the entire experience fun for the whole family. I reach out and we set a date, time, and location. I usually worry about what we will all wear and how the kids’ moods will be, but Hanna and Heidi always remind us to be ourselves and to have fun. They provide direction and make each session fun. At the end of every session, we all leave talking about how much fun we had and how easy they made it.

Hanna and Heidi are amazing artists, photographers, women, mothers, and business owners. Thanks again for capturing memories that we will cherish always.

I hired relic for my small wedding at the beginning of September, 2023. I had a conversation with Hanna prior to our session to get to know each other a little bit and go over what I was looking for. I stumbled upon Relic Photography on social media several years before actually working with Hannah. I was initially drawn to her style of photography but quickly realized that her true talent was being able to make her subjects stand out while surrounded by some of the most breathtaking scenery that Alaska has to offer. When my husband and I finally decided to get married in Big Bend National Park, (located in the southwest corner of Texas) we began engaging with some local photographers. While their portfolios were great, I still felt myself comparing their work to the photos featured on the Relic’s Social Media page. I took a chance and reached out to Hannah to see if she would be interested in traveling to Texas. It was a long shot but to my surprise, not only was she willing to travel but was just as excited as I was! She was so accommodating to a nervous bride’s request to build in extra time for travel delays. February in Alaska can come with some unpredictable weather/flight delays and Big Bend is an incredibly remote location in Texas. Once we actually got to the park on our wedding day, we started off with some cherished photos of our actual ceremony and family photos. Both of which turned out amazing! But the real magic happened when our family went back to their resort and we went on our Big Bend Adventure! My husband and I have never been photographed professionally. But Hannah gave us excellent direction and made us feel so comfortable. She has an incredible eye for natural beauty even in places she’s never been. We drove around the park and she had us stop in several locations that I have never thought about stopping at. She just has a natural eye for areas that will translate beautifully when photographed. After an amazing day with Hannah and her husband assisting as a second shooter, I couldn’t wait to see how they all turned out. I received the photos much quicker than I expected and I was completely blown away! When I opened the album and started scrolling through, I began tearing up with how beautiful the pictures were. Somehow, she was able to capture the magic of Big Bend while also showing our personalities in a picture. I cannot thank Relic Photography enough for the unbelievable pictures that my husband and I get to share for the rest of our lives. If you are even considering having Hannah and her team photograph your wedding, do yourself a favor and BOOK NOW! You will thank me later!

Relic was amazing to work with! We have two little kids ages 4 and 1 and it’s almost impossible to capture natural smiles. Hanna was fantastic and even gave us a general idea of what colors would go with the areas we were taking pictures at. My husband who typically hates photo shoots stated it was the easiest hour as she captured us moving and doing things with our kids. She absolutely captured their natural smiles and the joy they bring to our lives. Looking forward to Hanna capturing our family in the future.
