Sharing our story in hopes to prevent the same from happening to another innocent small business. 1st playground purchased no issues. Placed a request for design on a 2nd and was told by Lisa that if I put in a $50,000 refundable deposit I could speed up the design process and if we decided not to go through with playground build I would be refunded the money.

Covid happened and I requested refund through myself and my attorney. Years later we still have not received our $50,000 refund. Do not trust these people. I've included a few snapshots including invoice with refundable deposit promise and e-mails from Mitchell Gold promising my refund would be coming.

In my opinion and based on my experience, they're an incredibly dishonest business and very savvy at dissolving LLCs to evade the legal process. Do your own research.

I would not recommend this company because I had a bad experience with them, the only positive thing is the design part, Cindy did a great job with the design of my playground, but the rest was very bad
1- I signed a contract where they told me the playground was going to be finished late may 2024, they ask for the final payment that date and I did so, but the playground was not finished, they had almost 2 month delay
2- They include installation but when the playground was almost arriving to the location, they told me that their crew was not going to install the playground because safety issues with my country, and I understood, but instead they sent 1 Chinese installer that speaks no Spanish and very little English, and I had to find a lot of people to help this Chinese installer and they communicate by google translate, and since my crew was not experienced, we had more time delay, I planned to open the place on August and ended opening on mid October
because of the playground delay
3- The last thing is that after the playground was done, the Chinese just left and they never asked if everything was good with my playground, they didn’t even ask for pictures of the playground finished, they just didn’t care

Update #3:
My first review was 100% honest and was not removed due to misinformation it was removed as I stated because your employee threatened our ‘working relationship’ while under warranty. Your employee Brandon admitted that his friend left false reviews on our business, which has still not been removed. I did not ask that you come immediately. I contacted over a month ago and was told a few weeks, I followed up a month later to ask the timeline, still never demanding immediate attention just asking estimated time. I even asked for videos or photo instructions on how we could finish the install your company was hired to do. We had several injuries due to the faulty install and I made every attempt to get support from your company to no avail. With over 300 installs the lack of reviews is telling. As I have said, I would never use this company again if your goal is to have a safe playground. They will use any excuse to avoid their commitments. It has been a nightmare the entire journey. We have only been open a few months and the ‘industry leading’ materials are already fading and torn.

UPDATE: After leaving an honest review about our experience with IPI their employee Brandon Heising targeted our small family owned business with fake reviews. He attempted to tarnish our reputation within our community. The same day I left my honest review we received our only one star review on Yelp from a ‘Crislyn N’ we have no records of her visiting her playground and upon further review she is personally affiliated with Brandon. She lives in another state and has never been to our playground. We included screen shots and added the photos. I’m honestly shocked any professional business would stoop so low as to attempt to falsely destroy a small business simply to avoid repairing safety hazards from their install..
At the same time we also received a review on google from a profile that was fake that google immediately removed due to the obviously fake profile with a purple devil bear. It’s a shame a simple resolution couldn’t be reached.
I can’t imagine someone wanting to do business with this company after learning their employees with attempt to destroy your business. It’s so frustrating and emotionally draining as a small business owner to attempt to ensure a safe structure and be targeted by the company you paid in full for their service. It leaves you feeling hopeless.

When expressing our disappointment the president Julie said ‘Can’t make everyone happy’. I think it’s simple build a safe playground or don’t be in the business.

Unfortunately I don’t even have the energy in me to write out an entire comment on the awful experience this has been but a few quick points. I did previously write a review and was sternly talked to about our working relationship for the duration of our warranty and advised I should remove it by Brandon. As a courtesy and to avoid conflict I did. This was our first playground build and we made the decision to pay more to build with a ‘professional team’ the number of safety issues left behind that we continue to find are alarming. And the expectation is that we should have noticed them on the walk through- however in my opinion attaching nets so kids can’t fall through would be something the professional team would do from the beginning. We have sharp metal sticking out, thousands of zip ties not cut properly, steps not secured, I can go on and on. I understand making mistakes but the lack of urgency or care on fixing anything it’s beyond frustrating. Beware we had a child fall through our climber - we have been open only two months. We are opening a second location and will not use this company. I would be concerned after 200+ installations the low count of reviews is probably people with similar experiences who didn’t have the time or energy to fight with this company anymore.

Brandon was amazing and super professional with helping us out. The ball blaster guns stopped working for our playground and when we reached out, Brandon came as an angel. He prioritized service despite of our purchase 3yrs ago. He provided us troubleshooting after hours and was extremely patient and professional throughout the call while we remotely followed his instructions. 5-stars for this experience!

We had Brandon come and set up a indoor playground for us and wow! He really went above and beyond! The place is full of fun and creative spaces to play in! 100% safe and secure and looks fantastic! I highly recommend and give them 5 stars! With such great customer service and attentiveness to detail and specification. We had a very particular idea in mind and they made it a reality! And even better than we could ever have imagined! Thank you!!!

February 2021: Do not recommend! I worked with this company to build an indoor playground for our community. This playground cost our community thousands of extra dollars, and was installed 11 months past our project date, due to the company's mistakes. This company along with their franchise, Luv 2 Play employees have refused to answer questions. We looked at reviews before going with this company. We have found out thru this time of working with them, that several of the 5 star reviews, on social media and on here, were posted by current or former employees of this company. Buyer beware!
August 2021: Response to owner of IPI- There is misinformation amongst your response. First off I'm not the owner of Northwood Community Center, however I did work with them and your company thru designing, working out details, and working with your installers, therefor I'm entitled to my own review. The issue was not COVID, it was your workers inability to put together a playground, read the layout correctly (as the entrances were placed on the backwall), and then charging thousands of dollars more for your workers and company's mistakes. At that time there was no mandatory quarantine or travel restrictions due to COVID. My understanding from your employees was that there were very few American installers, that most of the time your company hires workers outside of the USA. I would like to further this conversation, however when I asked questions, I got no answers and was threatened with an attorney.
