These guys are complete scams. It's all over the internet Just look for yourself. Do not buy cards from giftcards.com or anything associated with Blackhawk Network. We ordered $1,500 worth of cards and they all showed up being unable to activate. After extensive time on the phone and running a couple of complaints on line, miraculously the cards were turned on but only for about 12 hours and then they were deactivated again. We spent about $300 total and lost the other 1200. I can't even imagine how many millions of dollars this company makes off of a scam like this. Why these guys are not in jail yet is mind-blowing to me. Blackhawk knows that the majority of these cards are given as gifts and most of the people receiving these gifts will just throw them into trash if they don't work and that will be the end of it. They have to be making hundreds of million dollars on the scam

I received a Gift Card and could not activate it when calling in because it didn’t recognize my zip code or the gifters zip code. I tried multiple times but the call was disconnected by the company. I put the card aside after becoming so frustrated with their system and not being able to reach a live person. I stumbled upon it again and put myself through the same arduous task of trying to activate it and again the system wouldn’t recognize the zip code. I logged into the website to see if I would have any luck and lo and behold I was able to activate it without the zip code. BUT, they had taken all of the value and month by month charged an inactivity fee until the $100 was depleted. Scandalous! I let the gifter know. Scammers to the fullest. I am reporting them to the BBB just so people see their name. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. You will be left embarrassed giving these to your friends, family and/or business associates. PATHETIC, UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES!!!

I am concerned that this may be a scam - I call by phone and cannot get a human response. The options on the phone do not address my concern (the card is not being accepted online). I try to follow the instructions they give you when ordering online and the merchant declines - but the instruction is not clear and I have given up.

I check online several times and the card is registered with the correct amount along with all other info provided but is not accepted when I try to use it online. This has taken over six months and has not been resolved.

I also contacted them by email and the address on the website. They did respond but only confirmed that the account balance is correct - yet I receive no information on how to get the card to work.

Absolutely useless. I am so disappointed with the Blackhawk Network and the minimum assistance I received.

I received this gift card for my birthday.

The website they use to register the card has less security than an airport on Sept 10th 2001. So within seconds of registration, it was compromised. Went from $40 to 14 cents faster than Kamala can screw up her drive thru order at McDonald's (and i mean....she DID work there right?).

Anyways, so I called the number, explained my situation, and I got bounced around to like 47 different departments until I got to Michael (employee # 6214). Michael read from a screen for about 5 mins that was a bunch of legalese. Cut me off while I'm talking and then call me "ma'am at the end. So not only does their gift card registration suck, their employees just mis gender people without a thought. Idk why I was expecting much. Mike told me he's only been with the company for 3 months and he's already in loss prevention?! Either Mike is a genius or Blackhawk just let's anyone work there.

So here I am mis gendered, stolen birthday gift, and incredibly confused with a TON of homework to do for them now since THEY messed up.

This company is a scam. Over the last six months, I have called customer service multiple times to replace a $200 gift card that was somehow "de-activated" when I went to the website that's listed on the card to check the balance. (It was not expired.) Over the last several months, I have called three times to get a replacement sent to me. Each time, I was told a new one is in the mail. As of June 11, I still haven't received it. If I could give this terrible company zero stars, I would. Do not do business with them and beware if you ever receive a gift card.

I've never had so many issues with a gift card before. Even after activation I haven’t been able to use the car in person or online. costumer service is completely useless. I go online it tells me to call. I call the number and it tells me to go online. And I STILL can't talk to an actual person. Don't waste your money on these cards. It way more work than it's worth. I'm pretty convinced this company is SCAMMING people. Once again don't waste your time on these gift cards. WAYYY MORE TROUBLE THAN THEYRE WORTH!!!

Literally a waste of space, time, and money.
I’ve NEVER had a card from this specific company that actually functioned in the way intended. Don’t buy unless you like have a useless card sitting in your wallet.
