Edit: grateful to the manager of this store for doing the right thing and getting us our money back. Truly hoping the people at the rental desk get better and no one else has to experience what we did.
Do not rent from this place. Went to rent a chainsaw, it was old and dying, chain was coming off and it smelled burnt. Went to return it and they said we put bad gas in it which we did not and because of that we won’t get our deposit back. 100% not worth your time and money. We are now out $300 because of them

Ace Hardware has great staff on hand to help with most of your projects. Today, Jade helped me find the right stuff to fix an almost water emergency. Turns out I just needed an $8 hose to avoid further disaster. Thanks guys!

Today I encountered Frank at Ace hardware, the rudest man I've ever met in a customer service environment. He was called over as a "plumbing expert", since we had questions and didn't know exactly what we needed in order to do the repair.
Frank was immediately rude and impatient. In about 2 minutes time he threw down the pipe he had in his hand, said if we don't know what we need then he was leaving and that we needed to make up our mind. If Frank knows absolutely nothing about plumbing, he's simply needed the state that. I've worked in customer service for years and I would never dream of treating somebody in that way. Zero stars for Frank. If you hate people and know nothing about tools or hardware you should not be working in customer service at a hardware store! We also heard him being rude to another customer as we were checking out.
On another note, Brandon, the store manager was fantastic. Extremely helpful. Thank you Brandon! We might actually come back because of you. Hope to never see Frank again!

Just wanted to remind everyone how awful of a store manager and person Brandon is. You really have to feel bad for his employees because I know most of them work hard and are good people.

Update: They’re not personal attacks, they are true. I feel like your customers should know about how treats employees and customers in general.

Also, I did tell you previously about Brandon’s poor attitude but you didn’t care so I thought reviews would be helpful.

If you don’t actually have an item in stock, don’t send an email saying it’s ready for pickup!!! Clearly they are not actually getting the orders ready for pickup. Drove an hour out of the way to go pick up our order which wasn’t even in available. Extremely frustrating. Meanwhile our account has an almost $300 charge, lost an hour of time and gas money due to laziness and inconsideration.

Store manager Brandon and ownership don’t care about employees or customers and are liars. Not to mention the prices are outrageous. Go elsewhere and avoid at all costs
