If I could give ZERO stars, I definitely would!!!
Completely UPSET and bewildered as to WHY Nataly of Gaytan Catering took a $195 deposit from me to cater a small family birthday celebration for today, September 14th, and she HAS NOT SHOWN UP!! I contacted Nataly on September 3rd to let her know that due to health issues, several of our guests would not be able to make our small gathering on the 14th and I asked her if she would still be able to cater the tacos, etc for a smaller group of about 9-11 people max . She said she would if I still paid for 15 people. I told her that I would need to talk to my husband as paying for 15 people when we only expect less than 10 is a lot of money for tacos and fixings. She then got back to me and said she would still do the catering for $19.50 per person, which I agreed to as I already sent her a Zelle deposit of $195 when I initially booked the date with her. She informed me that she would arrive to my house at 3PM to set-up and that she would contact me early in the week of September 9th to find out what meats I would like and what drinks. I never heard from her, so I had to contact her 4X on Thursday, September 12th to confirm everything was still on for Saturday the 14th and I asked if I needed to still choose meats and drinks. She finally replied to me after my 4th message and said that Yes, everything was still on that she’s been busy with other events. I asked again about the meats I needed to choose and she confirmed that yes I need to choose the meats, which I did.
This afternoon prior to when she was supposed to arrive at 3PM, I sent her a message that the side gate would be open for her to go through to bring in the set-up. I heard nothing, then I sent another message. Still nothing. Then I called 3X, leaving 2 voice messages. Her voice mail picked up immediately when I called 3X. So now Nataly has my $195 deposit and has still not shown up or replied to any of my messages. DO NOT HIRE Gaytan Catering!! The WORST mistake I ever made trying to give another small business my business. I should have contacted Chef Will who has catered for me 3X previously and is very professional and reliable or even Fernando at 805 Quesobirria who is also very reliable and provides good food.

UPDATE: I found out from several people in our Simi Valley community that Nataly Gaytan is in jail due to stealing and fraud! DO NOT HIRE this cater!! They now owe me $195 back from my deposit!

Don’t ever pick up from this company, try to avoid it if possible. The blond Spanish women in the front desk was really disrespectful. She was going around using profanity and flipping off to her workers. Treating them like they were slaves. She is a crazy women with problems and must be let go..
