I have been working with Jeremiah at J & J for many years,
He has provided cabinets on all my remodels and new construction projects for the past 10 years plus. He is highly organized and has excellent communication skills. He has been able to design kitchens and bathrooms for my most particular clients to their extreme satisfaction. Delivery has been on schedule each time. In the rare occurrence of a cabinet arriving damaged, replacements arrive very quickly. This industry was highly effected by Covid, but we managed to keep jobs on schedule within the restraints of closed manufacturing, shipping companies, etc. J & J is a locally owned family business, as my company is. We survive and thrive on great experiences with our clients. I have not advertised in 25 years, all referral jobs. That doesn't happen by working with sub par suppliers. You will be lucky to get Jeremiah and J & J to help you with your project.

We just finished our remodel with J & J, sort of...if you consider gaping crevices and unfilled spaces to existing appliances a finished remodel. It's one "miscommunication" after another. And dealing with the J&J office was a nightmare. Never once did we get an apology for a delay or scheduling problem. Our General Contractor requested a three day lead time between delivery and installation. Their office scheduled our install 8 days late throwing our project (and general contractor) off more that a week. The designer mis-calculated our wall space by 5 feet , thus we they delivered 5 pieces of cabinetry we couldn't use. (which we were reimbursed for) But this created a "Mega" problem with storage space before their installer could show up. Of course a few pieces were damaged or missing from the delivery. Understandable, but that set the finishing the install another week. Our third and final day of installation finally came, and the installer started to trim out the kitchen cabinetry and didn't have enough to finish. Apparently, J&J does not install transition trim to floor on their cabinets, even though their cabinet company sells and/or provides it. It seems that since our check was cashed, every communication, question, or complaint with their office has been either an admonishment of our lack of understanding or ignorance of their responsibilities. After the 6th or 7th call (and a dozen emails and texts) I spent the $50 worth of trim and hired someone with a finishing nail gun to finish the job.
Poor communication and a lack of customer service seem to be a pattern with their One-Star reviews.

Worked with this company on our kitchen remodel and they left the job incomplete. Been texting with them for months and they keep saying they will put me on the schedule but that never happens. Thanks for stringing us along and not completing the job.

recently had new kitchen cabinets with single bathroom cabinet with josh and jeremiah, installation was perfect, very nice work.
kept area clean while retaining install time.

Jeremiah came to house as scheduled in June 2022. Provided initial estimate, took a few attempts as there was an email issue. Follow up questions never answered. Called 2 times to ensure email was received as initial quote was a challenge for me to get. Confirmed had got my questions and would respond. A week later called again, again told would respond. Was also getting quote from another source for this home project, they did follow up. With no response from Jeremiah I went with other company. I cannot respond on quality of work, only lack of follow through. I really wanted to support a local company, but maybe my needs, 2 tall cabinets and another 2 smaller above window cabinets (4 total) were not enough work for them to consider.

We just finished out kitchen remodel with J and J here in Santee. We totally love our new kitchen. We were having some trouble trying to figure out the design, we just were not happy with the space and Jeremiah worked really hard to help us figure out how to make the best of our space. He actually drew up about 3 different designs for our kitchen in the computer software which really helped us to visualize the space. Their installers which I think are Jeremiahs brothers came out and did the demo of the old cabinets and countertops and were super fast and clean, especially for the tear out. The cabinets went in super quick and the finish on them was fantastic. They even coordinated my countertops for me through a local company that they work with. Overall they made it a pretty simple process and we couldn't be happier.

We recently completed redoing our kitchen. We started with the home depot and stuff but found it hard to get service and when we did talk to someone it didnt seem like they had been doing it very long. We only plan on doing our kitchen once and it can be very expensive so we wanted to make sure we did it right the first time. We figured the cabinets would probably be the biggest part of the cost, the biggest visual impact, and something that we would interact with on a daily basis so we decided to start with finding the right cabinets. We did some research and settled on Kraftmaid Cabinets. We with with J and J Cabinets in Santee and they had a nice showroom for us to be able to see all the cabinets and a bunch of the accessory options. They dont do the full remodel, they just do the cabinets and countertops but they were able to refer us to a lot of really good places. It seems like the person we worked with, Jeremiah, had been doing it for a while and came up with a lot of good ideas and things that we had not even thought about. After working on the computer and going through the design process we actually changed some of the existing layout at our cabinet designers suggestion and now that we have been living with it for a little while, those small differences from the previous layout are definitely noticeable and are huge improvements. Sometimes it is the little things. I think they carry other cabinet options too but we went with Kraftmaid and are very happy with the finish and quality of the cabinets. Our favorite is the motorized pull out trash can that automatically opens from inside the cabinet, dont know how we ever lived without it.
