We were lucky enough to stay at Tara Bella winery for two nights in the room they call "The B" (no breakfast, just bed). The room is above the tasting room / wine barrel storage, so it has a second floor balcony and views over the vineyard and to the hills beyond - especially gorgeous at dusk and dawn. Wendy and Kevin were very friendly and gracious hosts who welcomed us with glasses of wine and a personal tour of the vineyard and wine-making process. They were just about to harvest their grapes for the season when we were there, so it was especially fun to see them actively preparing everything - a very unique experience compared to a hotel!

Stopped at Terra Bella for an overnight. Stay with Harvest Hosts. Kevin and Wendy were absolutely wonderful. Generous winetasting, and an amazing spot.

Kevin and Wendy (owners) are awesome people and we had such a great time at the winery with them. You can tell they love what they do both from their knowledge of wine and from their delicious Cab Sauvs and rose. Thank you again for a great first experience in Sonoma!

If you like small, family owned wineries, this is a great place to visit. Granted they only have a few wines to taste, you'll get to meet the owners/wine makers and their two very adorable, very friendly basset hounds. $10 to taste and the bottles are all over $60, so keep that in mind if you want to keep things cheap.

This is a really small Winery that basically specializes in two cabs. They have a few other wines that are amazing they have currently have a rose and a Petite Sirah that are really good. I must say the experience that we had at the small Winery is amongst the best I've ever had at any of my tastings ever.

We met at San Fran Chronicle Wine Tasting event. Loved the wine and the owners, looking forward to visiting someday.....!
