Fog Crest Vineyard is our new favorite in Sonoma County! All these years, we did not know just what we were missing! The wines are exceptional (both the whites and reds are superb). Rosalind, the owner, is charming, very warm and welcoming! The setting is beautiful, with spectacular views!

Don’t bother making a reservation or visiting this winery. We made a reservation with a credit hold for this place on Sunday, 5/17 at 11:15a for a wine tasting and lunch. We came from SF (a 1.5-2 hour drive!), arrived at 11:00a, and waited 20-25 mins only to not have anyone show up. The doors were locked and the winery’s listed phone numbers did not work. I should have checked the reviews of this place beforehand.

Fog Crest is an incredible Winery in Sonoma County just a short drive from Sebastopol. The wines are superb starting with a rose two chardonnay's and two Reserve Pinot noirs to delight yourself with this winery. Connie runs tasting room with a beautiful smile

After making an online booking, being charged for the food/tasting/gratuity, getting confirmation of the reservation, the winery was a no-show at their own estate! We arrived 10 minutes early, stayed 30 minutes past our time - tried calling and emailing to no response. It's now been five days since this happened, with messages sent every day, and still no response. If you want to give away your $$ and get nothing in return, this is the winery for you!!!

A wine club member showed up while we were waiting and, while she expected someone to be there, wasn't overly surprised at the locked doors. She let us know we were in the right spot and then she left (without her wine which she was there to pick up).

This all happened on a Saturday - an incredibly busy day for wineries, yet no one was around to help?

We visited in November and found Fog Crest when we were just driving around, and we’re so thankful we did! The Pinots were delicious and our server was fantastic (even with us coming in 45 minutes before closing). The icing on the cake was the beautiful views!

Enjoyed all of the wines we tasted, especially the rose and Laguna West and Reserve Pinot Noir (we are more red drinkers but found the Chardonnay to be smooth and easy to drink). Excellent tasting experience with Cooper. Beautifully manicured vineyard with fantastic view. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful view and ambience. Location was perfect.
Wine and food. EXCELLENT!
Staff is very knowledgeable and very nice.
Owner is very nice. It was great to meet her. Talk about the business, the history and just natural conversation.

Go up
