This is a the perfect place for everyone who’s burned out by pretentious and not truly a family place but says they are. 100+ yr old vines. “Mom” greeted us on arrival. The low key feel might take you back at first but the place is super friendly and the wine is unique. Hanging at a picnic table talking about family and wine is why you should stop. It’s different, truly independent, a family business looking to the next gen. Give it a go if you want to see a true family winery. And of course, tasty wine, some older vintage. Maybe even “better than sex” (you’ll have to ask yourself).

Dino was very insightful and pleasant to host us. He took us around the property and even gave us a few samples of his private stash that hasn’t even released yet. We are contemplating coming back on October for their grape stomping competition. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a personal touch on a truly family run winery.

If you would like a genuine family owned winery experience, Battaglini is your place. Our favorite tasting experience! Dino Battaglini hosted us unannounced. He gave us the full tour and experience as if we were family friends from out of town. More than a 2 hour visit and we enjoyed every minute. Wonderful wines and fun education on the land, processes, serving, trivia and history of the family vineyard. Down to earth, friendly and homey. Highly recommended.

After hearing what my family had to say I am leaving a review because they do not have an account to leave a review. “Family owned winery’s are where it is at . Very friendly from the beginning and made you feel welcomed. Not too small not too big. All great things. Organic fresh wine. Everything was so cute and family styled. The property was well maintained and also very big . My family stated that they were very happy with everything all around . “

This is the place where I question writing a review out of fear that it will become too popular by time we have a chance to come back. Battaglini Winery will hopefully encourage your sense of adventure as you reconsider the wine tasting atmosphere away from crisp hedges in perfect parallel across a crushed conch shell driveway and pristine painted pergolas. Please join Dino and his family in the conversation about their family heritage. My wife and I have not stopped smiling since we left. Allow Dino to embrace you as his guest. And rest well knowing that Dino and his family are going to do this again tomorrow. I only wish that we could join him (and you) again then.

Very nice people, owners and family working there. Very personal and not commercial feel to the small winery. There are some relaxing seating outdoor near the vineyard. There are a number of wines (mostly Chardonnay and Zinfandel) many older and over the hill vintages.

I love this old world set up that Joe has. The wines are outstanding and you can still get some old vintages. Zinfadels and chardonnays are especially good. Joe, Lucia, and Lidia treat you like you are part of the family from the old country. Besides drinking great wine, you are in great company.

Dino is the man! Thise place is the best! Old world style, which sadly you don't see anymore. I had such a good time here. Walked out with a mixed case. Beautiful Zinfandels, beautifuly aged. There 01 and 02 Zins were Phenomenal!
