Want to try some wine? Stop by the Wattle Creek Winery tasting room. Great fun staff will guide you to some of Sonoma's best wines. My personal favorite is the 2014 Cab Shiraz (actually it's the Sparkling Shiraz, no longer available 😥). Located in historical Ghiradehli Square upper level. While you are here, join the Club!

I've been a member of Wattle Creek for about 2 years now and have enjoyed every bottle and every tasting since! The tasting room is not only a convenient and fun location to take friends, but the experience is always enjoyable with friendly staff and a great atmosphere to chat with fellow wine enthusiasts. I also love that I can pick up my shipments at the tasting room (though I do mean to visit the actual winery one of these days...). I'm never disappointed with the wine selection and often take advantage of their specials, or just pick up an extra bottle or two on my visits.

My wife and I are really into wine. We're younger, so we've had plenty of experiences where winery staff assume we know little about wine or are not going to make a purchase. Not only was this not the case here, the staff was really friendly and knowledgeable. The wines were also quite good.

The wine club is a good value, providing discounts at multiple different wineries and periodic shipments. We were on a fairly short trip into San Francisco, so we didn't have time to go up to wine country. Having a location in the city was really convenient, allowing us to sample wines from Sonoma even with our limited schedule. I definitely recommend stopping by while in Ghirardelli Square.

My husband and I discovered Wattle Creek Winery on a trip to San Fransisco 5 years ago. We enjoyed the expertise and friendliness of the staff as well as the upbeat wine tasting experience. We joined the wine club that day and have always been proud to bring our bottles of Wattle Creek Wine to dinners and other occasions. We are impressed that they extend the membership to include free tasting for family members. Even love the design of the bottles...class act all the way around!

Wattle Creek is the best. The bartenders at the wine shop are so friendly and know so much about each and every wine. If you frequent, they'll definitely remember your face and welcome you to a glass of wine (which you should if you are a member because you get complimentary tastings!). The wine is just so tasty -- my very favorite! The triple play is always a winner. Great customer service, wonderful wine and never ending perks!

Since we live in SF and now have a young child in our lives, it's harder to take a day trip up to wine country, so it's great that we can take a short drive or even a long urban hike over to Wattle Creek Winery.

We were actually members of the Wattle Creek Wine Club but had to eventually stop because of our little one and us not drinking or going out like we used to. However, the wine club was very affordable and our membership gave us nice perks (free tastings for us and guests and wine pick up parties) and great deals.

The staff was really fun and helpful too! We'll
definitely be back!

My husband and I stumbled upon their tasting room during a quick visit to San Francisco. Signing up for their wine club was a typical impulse purchase. But in the five or so years that we've been getting quarterly deliveries from them, they've been sending us wines we've loved. We've even bought several cases of our favorites, and referred friends to them. I can't recommend this winery highly enough!

We really enjoy the Wattle Creek tasting room. It is such a fun place to go and enjoy good wine and listen to local musicians perform on the weekend. Being a local of San Francisco, we usually tend to avoid such a place that is known as a tourist attraction, but for some reason this spot in Ghirardelli square is quite the opposite. We never feel like it is overwhelming or over crowed with people. The tasting room has a special designated sitting area for wine drinkers. We frequently visit this location with our almost 3 year old and we all have a blast. I recommend this place to locals that purposely avoid fisherman's square and surrounding area, you are in for a special treat.
