I stopped in with my non-functioning vacuum cleaner that I had tried to fix. The had device suddenly stopped suctioning, and the owner offered a free check on the issue (provided he didn't have to take it apart and do a detailed diagnostic...)

Long story short: he succeeded in getting the vacuum working after a short time, and the issue was something really simple that I hadn't figured out. He could have kept it and charged me for a complete servicing, and I would not have known the difference.

But he was both honest and kind. I really, really appreciated this approach, and will not hesitate to do business with them the next time I need a vacuum repair or decide to buy a refurbished machine.

Over charged me for vacuum by 100.00 and it was for a floor model, not convinced it was brand new but probably refurbished. After 1 week suction decreased quite a bit, after dealing with the owner I know he does not back his product or would exchange for a properly working vacuum cleaner. I feel I was duped and recieved an inferior product. He lost a repeat customer.

Unlike the other reviews, I give this store a 1. I was looking to buy a new vacuum to replace my old Lindhaus. The guy didn't really seem to really know his products and couldn't articluate the qualitative differences between them in terms of performance. Pointed me to a machine @ $1,000. Not an effective sales person. When I asked him if he had any Orek's (since their name was on his window), he said they went out of business 3 years ago. Oh yeah? Their website seems to indicate they are alive and kicking. In fact I'm buying one elsewhere. When my wife once left our Lindhaus for a cleaning, he charged us $225. When I was in the store, an older lady brought in her cannister for repair. He told her that he would charge $50 to look at it whether he did any work or not. It's not like he was making a service call. She left. "Discount" in their name is a misnomer.

We needed a new vacuum, and after some research decided to check out Sebo caninster vacuums. He carried 3 Sebo cannister models, and explained the features they share and their differences. It was an easy and straight forward buying process. We love our new Sebo vacuum!

Owner was extremely helpful. I liked the old style Hoover vacuum and he sold me an even nicer vacuum that works for me with a handicap. Very knowledgeable too.
