The gentlemen, Matt and Jaimie who came to repair my outdoor water faucet were fantastic, personable, efficient and just really a pleasure to work with. They got the job done and explained what they were doing along the way. (and oh yeah, cleaned up afterwards). Also the women who called me back to schedule the job were fantastic. I received a call back right away and was put on the schedule two days later. I could tell by their kind voices that these were the folks I wanted to work with. After waiting for 2 weeks for other plumbers in Mt Shasta to get back to me, it was a pleasure. Because SVM was 45 minutes down the road, I wasn't sure they work in the area. I will always recommend them. If you have any need for plumbing repairs please contact SVM, you will not be disappointed.

Horrific service.

Recently moved out of the area and own a condo in Shasta. Had a problem with a tub leaking on the 2nd floor and they couldn’t figure out the leak. Blamed it on the neighbors house. Yes, blamed it on the neighbors house. At the same time had a simple issue with the shower handle falling off, said they fixed it and charged $354 for that visit.

A couple months later we had a leak in the downstairs bathroom beneath the sink. The p-trap was leaking. I had done work in that cabinet and knew that the drop below the sink into the p-trap was installed too short, but thought it would be ok. I told them over the phone exactly what the problem and was refused any sort of price for the fix. Their standard fee for visits is $70-90… can’t remember the price. They came and fixed the problem thankfully, but for $275. For a $5 piece of pvc they drove a mile away to get at ramshaws or just had in their truck. Install time should be less than 5min.

More time goes by. Handle falls off the shower valve they were supposed to fix. No more SVM. Hired a local handyman to replace the cartridge and handle at a fraction of the price.

More time goes by. The “mystery” leak in the tub upstairs is still going on and causing serious problems. Water is bubbling up in paint downstairs and causing water damage to the extent that we don’t know yet.

Payed the same local handyman to investigate for a nominal fee and he discovered the jetted tub was leaking from the motor when it was running. Mold, water, water damage etc. beneath the tub easily visible by looking into the access panel.

Why were we charged so much for such a lack of effort and due diligence? How could a plumber or plumbing company simply go with “neighbors house” for the cause when water was literally going through the 2nd floor and into the 1st floor ceiling and walls below? Leaving the issue unresolved, and charging $354.

We just discovered a leak on the water main to the house two days ago. The snow was coming down already in Mount Shasta. I called probably seven different plumbing services in and around town to no avail. Someone suggested SVM in Yreka. I called the office. Jordan was thoughtful and listened to our problems. Jordan reached out to his technicians and found that Matt happened to be in Mount Shasta that afternoon, went to our backyard, assessed the leak, dug up around the box, and fixed the leak by replacing parts. Matt( and another technician who was also there possibly) was our hero!!! So grateful to have this incredibly thoughtful and hard-working team of professionals in the area. Highly recommended!

SVM Plumbing was AWESOME! Same day service was great . Jakob the technician explained exactly how the system operates so if the need arise in the future I could give a better description if something went wrong.

At a later date, Matt and Kevin did a lot of work on my home and were very efficient . Very courteous gentlemen who care about the quality of their work.
