Do not use this company. The quality of work is very disappointing. Rick will not treat you right. Framers can’t line anything up straight. Lots of unnecessary nails. My drywall will have a wave in it due to lack of lining things up properly. I already have one post that’s bowing. Not pleased with the lumber they built with. My pole barn was not structurally built to live in. I made it clear before they started that I would be living there. The concrete is really aggravating. Big cracks all around inside and out. Less than a month old and the concrete is looking like a decade old. They also left concrete all around the pole barn. The metal itself does look good. All in all I’m not pleased with the quality and I would never use them or recommend them to anyone. Take your money elsewhere and wait on the guy who you know does it right the first time.

I struggle to write this review because I’m just not that kind of person, but if it helps someone else avoid the problems we dealt with then it’s worth it.
Terrible company to do business with, we had multiple issues. Screws missing in roof and walls, very poor trim job, the brand new metal was scratched in MULTIPLE places, metal overlap incorrectly placed in 5 places. I had to get on the roof and remove the screws to remove the trim to the remove the metal sheets to correct the overlap issue. It was far easier for me to fix it myself as it was to wait another month.
Rick has the worst attitude of any company representative I’ve ever dealt with. To get a him on the phone is relatable to getting a message to your congressman with actual results. Horrible customer service skills, and good luck getting any kind of schedule or time line from them.
I decided to use them because they did a good job on our office warehouse we had built around 5 years ago. Something has changed with them and we were very displeased with the quality of work provided on our personal shop built last year. (Fall-2020)
If you enjoy gambling with your hard earned time and money, go to the casino, at least you have a chance of a good experience.
As for your building needs, PLEASE look elsewhere.

The owner of this company, Rick, came to my property to assess the site for construction readiness and introduce himself.
I think he had decided I wasn't a buyer when he rolled up. But I don't know.
He did get noticeably irritated to hear that I was shopping around and not ready to ink a deal on the spot.
He complained about gas prices and said I was wasting his time!
I could hardly believe the way he behaved! Unprofessional to say the least. Immature to be more precise.
I felt disappointed and disrespected by the whole encounter.
And just to protect his own ego he told ME to find someone else!
No Problem.
*Edit
Now almost a year later they post a reply that only further exposes the unprofessionalism of this company.
I was never invited to go see anything. In fact, it was Rick at Ark-La-Tex that urged the site visit.
What good business person would engage in a back-in-forth like this on the internet and resort to fabrications to shuck all responsibility?
Edit 2:
Any good small business owner today knows better than to point blame back at the reviewer. The proper response is to apologize for any misunderstandings and offer to work with the reviewer offline to try and satisfy the complaint.
Buyer beware. The folks running this place lack professionalism to say the least. And quite willing to deal in dishonesty.

I had a shop built 6 years ago. Completely satisfied with the finished product. Attempted to contact one week ago for another build additional carport. Have not not gotten response or return call just yet. They must be busy or have plenty of work. Patiently waiting

Did a great job on the shop in 2016, just had a lean put on and its great as well!

The owner did not inform me that the size I requested was totally inadequate to protect my RV. On the positive side the two installers, Troy and Brad were knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and hard workers.

If you need a new shop, a custom building, or a shed - Rick has everything you need to get that project started. Highly recommended. Very Professional.

Called for information and I got more information than I expected. About construction process, costs, a lot of information about various areas as we are still shopping for the right land as well. This guy was super helpful. Thank you.
