After years of needing a new deck and new exterior doors, Andrew and his crew did a fantastic job of transforming our plans into reality. Andrew is great at communication, delivers what he promises, charged a fair price, and he’s incredibly responsive when a question or issue arises. He thought of every detail with the replacement of our exterior doors, including stucco repair, trim, and paint. His crew was thoroughly professional and friendly, too. Andrew and the crew understand the meaning of service and they genuinely cared that we were happy with the final results. We love our new deck and doors! They have given our house new life, and we’d recommend AA Construction to anyone.

Andrew did a miraculous job rebuilding our ADU in Pacific Grove that was heavily damaged by a fallen tree in the storms of March 2023. His team of employees and subcontractors provided clean and well executed work that matched the original architecture perfectly. Andrew's communication, scheduling, and responsibility made our interaction absolutely stress free.
I would highly recommend him.

We contracted with AA and Andrew for a complete remodel of a 1250 square foot home. The remodel included 2 new bathrooms, a complete new kitchen, vaulting the living room ceiling, a new deck, and all corresponding framing, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC work. AA did a great job! Andrew employed high quality sub contractors. Andrew was always reachable, and he and his crew consistently showed up on schedule. The entire project was completed on time. Andrew was always available for phone calls when we had questions or issues. He gave us timely updates and communicated scope changes and budget issues as necessary. I would not hesitate to use Andrew and AA Construction on another project and would confidently refer him to other clients. Thanks Andrew!

We are so happy with the new bathroom remodel that was done by Andrew and his team. Not only did they complete the project within the timeframe and budget, but they also made sure we were absolutely satisfied with the results. They were very professional with seamless communication throughout the entire process, and even went out of their way to provide us with helpful advice and suggestions to make our bathroom look as great as possible. Andrew has been incredible to work with. Timely, on-budget, and a like a diamond in the contractor ruff actually knows how to use spreadsheets and send emails. He has been an absolute pleasure to work with, helping us save money, deal with all the subcontractors without us having to worry about anything, and his attention to detail makes you feel like it’s actually his house. I can’t recommend him highly enough, as he really saved us on our 5,000 sq. Foot complete remodel in PG.

I am happy to share that I am currently working with Andrew Ackerman of AA Construction. He and his team are building a 918sf ADU for me in Pacific Grove. The build has had some crazy weather related challenges but Andrew has been nothing but positive and solutions oriented to move quickly beyond our un-anticipated dilemmas. An open communication style was high on my priority contractor qualities and Andrew is consistently quick to communicate updates/information or respond to my inquiries or those of my architect. He is not threatened by any of my inquiries and has shown zero reluctance to double check on something before proceeding. He also comes across as totally invested in your project (quality, style, as well as progress), which I think must be a tricky attribute for any contractor who is busy and sees so many types of projects. Andrew has great employees equally hardworking and nice. I have not heard any cursing or unpleasant tones among them. (And I know that happens because I walk by another building site daily that does exhibit this kind of behavior.) I also appreciate that every trade Andrew has brought on board has been terrific with their expertise, work, and pleasantness.
