Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to upgrade their sound system. Joe was incredibly helpful in navigating the design of my system, and worked to maximize what I could achieve with my budget without being pushy like a lot of the salesman I experienced at other shops in the area. He ended up installing two amps, a component speaker set, and a subwoofer with a custom enclosure he designed and built into my trunk. He also decided to add a custom sub volume knob that was integrated seamlessly into my dash while completing the install, without adding much to my final price at all. During the install, he found that the location we had originally picked out for the sub enclosure would have restricted access to my battery, so he got creative and built a beautiful enclosure elsewhere in the vehicle that looked like it was factory, and did not restrict access to the battery or my spare tire, and left me with all of my cargo space as I had asked for. Overall, the sound system was better than I ever could have hoped for when I picked it up, and was much cheaper than I had been quoted at Car Toys and other local shops. You can tell Joe is very knowledgeable and takes great pride in his work and would not let you walk out of there with anything that was not installed correctly. On top of everything else, you get a lifetime warranty on all of the labor, and he will even uninstall the equipment when/if you decide to sell your vehicle. Highly recommend working with Joe!

I’m blown away by the quality and attention to detail. Joe set me up with a custom sub enclosure for my 5th Gen 4Runner. Fit and finish is second to none and the materials match the factory interior so well. Everything turned out so clean, all the wires, amp install, bass knob, everything. I had these guys upgrade my 2006 4Runner with a new head unit with CarPlay, SXM, high definition backup camera and integrated navigation. He listened to our story of why my mom and I decided to restore the Bronco and has become personally involved in this build. The whole process was smooth and easy, coming in knowing absolutely nothing the owner joe explained everything and even threw in a few things for free. Dropped the car off and it was done in 3 days. Sounds ridiculous easily blows any stock sound system out of the water even the top end ones from Audi or BMW. Highly recommend this place and will be going back in the future!

I reached out to Joe because he is 1 of 2 sundown audio dealers in the state of colorado. I live in the metro area and decided to go with ac customs because i had reached out to him in the past and wanted to finally work with him.

My situation was interesting to say the least. I had a 70% completed project, and wanted a shop to do the rest. I have been doing car audio as a hobby for a few years now, but dont find myself confident enough to make a proper subwoofer enclosure. Thats where joe comes in. I called him and we talked for 30 minutes on the phone. Joe took time to hear what i wanted and gave me real life examples of Similar work he had done in the past. I let him know that i had already completed most of the work, and he was good with picking up where i left off. Not many places will do that. It gave me alot of respect for Joe, and his confidence made me comfortable with the project.

Joe built me a ported box for 4 Sundown X8v.3 subwoofers. I have a small 2000 ford ranger, so space is tight. The box dimensions where really strict and joe didnt have much room to work with. He did a blow through into the bed and mounted the box super tight. He was able to accomplish every desire i had. The work is super clean and top notch. I had cut away alot of plastic to expose the back of the cab. It was really ugly. Joe offered to build a beauty panel in order to cover everything back up, and give the truck a stock feel. It looks amazing, and sounds really good. It was all for a really good price too!

If I need audio work done again in the future, i will definitely be giving Joe a call. The only thing i would change about my experience is the communication. There was one instance where it was almost a week before i got a call back. I would have liked to be kept in the loop more. At the end of the day, the work quality was amazing and thats what i payed for. Joe also worked until 10pm to make sure he met the deadline.

Joe and his team did an amazing job. I was looking for a shop who could create a factory subwoofer box that would fit an aftermarket sub and they did just that. I was updated throughout the whole process and called once it was ready. I highly recommend anyone looking to get some audio work done to choose this shop. Joe does amazing work - his attention to detail is second to none. Executed an amazing install of a W6 in a custom stealth enclosure, in my 4Runner. Placed a big speaker in a tiny spot and took away none of the functional cargo space. Took hours of extra time tuning Focal 3-ways up front. His commitment to excellence shows and his rates are fantastic. Cannot say enough about this work - his passion, craftsmanship, and work ethic shine through every time I fire this thing up.
