If I could give this place a zero, I would. The manager on duty on September 7, 2024, at 1:30 PM had the worst attitude. I picked up two bags of shrimp labeled $11.99, but she claimed that maybe a customer had placed them there. Isn’t it their responsibility to correct such issues? She refused to honor the price and had a poor attitude throughout. It’s hard to believe that a store like Acme employs people with such poor customer service, especially in a managerial role. They need to do better.

In the past month I had to return pork and chicken. They were not past sell by date but were rotten. Had to wait a while for customer service. She should not be dealing with the public. I'm taking my business elsewhere. I have had issues before this with produce as well. West Putnam Ave store.

Old lady cashier had a horrible attitude. Big scowl on her face. Clearly she wanted to make the customers experience negative. Everything around her was more important than checking out the current customers in her line. She was looking for any distraction to wwaste our time. Terrible. Never again.

Absolutely one of the most strangest and disgusting experiences I have ever witnessed. The aisles are too packed and close to one another. The employees didn’t look friendly or welcoming at all. Once we checked out at the cashier, there were two employees. I think they were teens, they just giggled and didn’t understand anything of the water bottle exchange option. They had to ask another employee, who was picking her nose and gave us the eye roll and side eye. Absolutely no respect at all. This first time will be the last one. This store used to be good but now it went down hill ever since 2018.

Having come out of this business years ago, there is a market for produce that is ready to expire hence the lower price….. But what I find really amazing is go 2000 feet down the road to Balducci’s and spend 40% more for the same products!!! not knowing that they come from Acme which now owns Balducci’s lol….

Always lots of things to see and purchase from. They have a great selection of fresh and frozen food, drinks, and snacks. Always impressed with the freshness of the cooked to go food in their deli section. Never too crowded, and always an easy checkout.
