I can't thank the Fisher House staff enough for the amazing and comfortable stay our family had. We only stayed for two nights but they made everything work for our family of five and the accommodations really make you feel like you have a home away from home.

House is decorated beautifully. Large kitchen to utilize. Community great room, dining room, & laundry room. Good size, private bathroom & bedroom. We liked how no one could just walk into the place. Conveniently near the commissary, exchange, & gasoline station on base. Shops & restaurants are near as well.

Words can't express how pleased I am with every aspect of my stay. The staff is just wonderful. They are cooperative and professional, but they are also friendly and caring and go out of their way to accommodate guests in order make your stay a great experience that you actually cherish. Fischer House is clean, modern, and very comfortable. You will find most anything you could need or want is provided for you on the premises. From a huge DVD collection to free wifi, they even have BBQ grills and a smoker outside of a huge well stocked kitchen for your use. There are volunteers from various organizations that often come and cook or provide meals for the residents. A few times a week there are games, performances, and other activities that are provided for the residents for free. There is a large comfortable dining room for everyone to enjoy meals in as well as each other's company. I love the place, it's a great experience.

We had to use this place multiple times due to my severe illness at the time and these are some of the best people you will ever meet! Jennifer did such and excellent job and is very caring of you & your situation. It was even better when Fort Rich combined resources with Fisher House to help more folks. Excellent facilities, workers and volunteers make it a preferable stay to a hotel even if you had to pay. Others visitors have dire health issues too and all are support each other like a big family.

Very disorganized, had reservations and they had no idea until they checked their email the day after we had gotten here. Said they had no room, then said they did and weren’t sure for how long. If we’d known that this would’ve happened we would have preplanned a hotel room or air bnb
