Pros - The Placer and Glacier cabins were very nice, cozy and comfortable. Kitchens were well stocked, previous guests had left quite a few things that came in handy, like coffee, eggs and various spices. The beds were very comfy. The cabins are off a main road but it was still quiet and there's beautiful woods behind them. Location was great, right down the street from a bakery and gas station. The hosts were very nice and gave us a lot of great information about the area, hiking trails, etc.
Cons - The Alyeska cabin is not level, which makes it a little weird for sleeping. And overall its just not as cozy as the other 2 cabins. We knew the Alyeska and Glacier cabins had the clawfoot tub, but I guess we still thought they had a shower attachment. They don't. So it made it hard for the guys especially to sit in a bath versus take a shower. It would've been nice to have both.

It was an amazing weekend at the Hideaway Cabins. The property is warm and inviting. Had everything you could possibly need or want. Host are on site and very attentive to anything you may need. It was the perfect way to celebrate our 21 year wedding anniversary. Will definitely come back to this amazing place.

Great time at well-located, charming cabin. Two clean and comfy bedrooms plus a nice kitchen made our stay very comfortable. Nestled in woods but easy to walk to road w free town shuttle for restaurants and the tram and spa at Aleyeska resort. Nice trails nearby. Hosts were very nice and accommodating with luggage hold. Highly recommend!

We stayed in all three cabins during our vacation. The cabins all have views of the woods that give a secluded cozy feeling. The owners greeted us on arrival creating a warm and welcoming environment. All three cabins were tidy and clean. Alyeska and Glacier have gorgeous claw foot bathtubs, making it very easy to relax and get away from life. We will definitely be visiting again. Thanks Lynnè and Patrick!

beautiful little cozy cabin spaces just outside of Alyeska Resort. electric heating, tankless hot water, fridge stove, full bathroom. adorable wood stove that will keep you nice and toasty! Lynné and Patrick are some of the kindest people I have met in Alaska. they helped me out and provided accommodations when I got stuck in a snowstorm headed to Homer. made sure I was situated and warm and got to where I was headed. I will be recommending them to everyone I know coming down here.

We spent 3 nights in the lovely Alyeska cabin and wished we had booked more nights! The cabin was clean, the kitchen well stocked and perfectly decorated. The claw foot bath tub was a nice treat after a long day of hiking.

Lynne’ and Patrick were very gracious hosts, offering suggestions and recommendations in the area. Everything really was so smooth and easy. We highly recommend you booking a stay at one of their cabins, I promise you won’t regret it!

Great cabin with loft, cozy, all the necessary amenities. Great Hosts. The forest is at your back door and there are paths that you are able to take to experience the local wild life. My son was able to take photo's of a brown bear 50 yards behind cabin #171.

We had a short but pleasant stay at the Alyeska Hideaway Log Cabins. The location was excellent and the owner of the property was very hospitable. We hiked to the top of Alyeska and it was a highlight of our entire trip. I would definitely recommend staying in this area and at this location to those traveling to Alaska!
