Dr Amy Wasterlain just did a full left hip replacement on me on 1/29/2025. It was an amazing and positive experience. I no longer have any arthritic pain and I am home and moving around well and independently. The surgery was outpatient at her practice surgery center in Middletown, Ct. The facility was amazing and the entire team was thoughtful, friendly and put patient care first.

Dr Amy and her team was introduced to me before the surgery and made sure all my questions as well as those of my care over were answered thru out the process. Post-op they took the time needed for me to be ready to be up and moving around well Dr Amy talked with me after surgery to advise how it went and answer questions.
They arranged for PT to meet me at home to make sure I got out of the car and safely in my home.
Every day after surgery the nurse coordinator Mary called to check in how I was healing, answer questions and make sure I was on a good path, even over the weekend!
I spoke with Dr Amy this morning and asked her when we could schedule my right hip!!

It is truly amazing not to be in pain anymore and to be able to stand up straight!
Highly recommend Dr Amy Wasterlain and her whole team!

Very good surgeon! I would highly recommend Amy Wasterlain if you need your knees replaced. Had first one done two months ago. DEFINITELY having her again for the right knee!... She listens to you and very easy to talk with.

Dr. Wasterlain and staff throughout my two surgical experiences exceeded my expectations at every step of the process. Dr Wasterlain took the time to identify and explain the procedure and what to expect during each phase. Dr Wasterlain is very good at explaining the process and comfort to her patients. The rest of the staff, nurses, assistants and all associated with my surgeries were all exemplary in their contacts with me and evident in speaking with other patients at the office, physical therapy and associated hospital staff. All I could say is WOW…. I have been dealing with hip pain since August of 2023 and was going to a different Dr feeling like a ping pong ball. Back and fourth. I met Dr Wasterlain this morning. From the second she walked in the front door. I knew this was my Dr. Within 25 minutes we had a surgery date for a new hip in two weeks. She is probably one of the nicest and coolest Dr’s I have ever met. She explained everything to me and made me feel at ease. I can’t wait to be out of pain. I now know why she has all these amazing reviews. If you need anything to do with your hip. STOP right here. Do not pass GO. Do not Collect your 200.00. Just make the call and you will be as happy as me.

Well here we are two weeks to the day and my new hip is in. I can’t say enough about Dr Wasterlain and her team. THE BEST. Minimal pain. Surgery at 10:30 and on the couch at home by 3:30. I will say it again. If you don’t use Dr Wasterlain then you are doing yourself no justice. Everyone from the receptionist, to the nurses, to the anesthesiologist. THE BEST. THANK YOU AMY.

AWESOME…I was extremely pleased with Dr Wasterlain and the entire process. She is highly skilled, and has great bedside manner… I’m happy with my knew knee, and I’m actually going to have the other knee done, and at this point I wouldn’t consider any other Dr. besides Dr. Amy
