I travel ALOT for business. (Birds) I am NEVER without baby birds. I pick them up out of state or take them with me from home. I loved the coolers but they didn’t make the ones with the handles anymore so I moved into the big brooder. I got 2 of the biggest ones and one of the small square one. The first one I got I believe was the small square knowing it would never be big enough I got the extra large. It was a bird one I ordered a second one and it was a puppy/kitten one or that’s what the digital reading says. Now I don’t know what the difference is but I use that one as my last stage “cooler” one because the temp never goes over 80-85. Well let me rephrase that one side is always 80 and the other 85. The other large one I have jumps up and down in temp. The only one that hold a constant temp is the small square one. That’s the one the just stopped working on my way back from Texas! I didn’t even know it stopped until I went to feed because the LED strip light burned out on the way to Texas and I didn’t see all the Condensation on the door. I have a very new very expensive A class that I put all of these in. The generator runs 24/7 and I have the extra large the small a heating pad and a very small from another company. They are all fine the plug is fine. I also removed the cord from the big one and swapped cords. Cords are fine. So I am now 6 hours from home with no heat for my 30 cockatiels that are only a couple weeks old. I just bought these all last spring so of course they are all out of warranty. Now I know his policy I can pay to ship them back and he will repair. I have waited to leave this review until I used them for two springs. In the beginning hinges came apart or should I say peeled apart in layers. Brooder cabinets are EXTREMELY hard to take apart to clean. The doors were scratched up on the sliding doors the first week. I messaged him about it and was told to buy a plastic cleaner and the doors don’t scratch. (I tried to enclose pics but it’s hard to capture in a picture) the hoses start growing black mold while in use because of the mist going threw. There are spacers between that start falling/peeling apart when you try to clean them. The LED lights went out. Water tank hose is so stiff that when the tank gets a quarter of the way down it tips out of its holder because of the hose. The hole for the hose is too small and we have had to tape them. I had planned on ordering more of these for myself and my store (I currently have 20 brooders in my store) but they went up a hundred or so after I ordered my first one. I use another popular brand. They have been tried and true I just got tired of replacing fans myself. But fan replacement is better than this. It looks as if he is 3D printing the units and parts. They are like cheap Chinese junk not American made good quality. Very disappointing and spring has just started ugh!

We bought a puppy transport incubator from this company a little over a year ago. We used it 4 times and unfortunately the it stopped working and wouldn't heat up over 24 degrees celsius. When we contacted James Avey it was before the year warranty was up, he sent us videos on other incubators instructing us to take it apart and ship back. The videos were irrelevant to the construction of this incubator and we were not able to dismantle it to return. A few months had passed as we were busy with puppies and were not aware that there was a time limit on shipping the motor back. I contacted James again and asked about returning it as we would have to ship the whole incubator back, he then informed us it was our responsibility to pay shipping as well as his service fee to fix the incubator as our warranty had ended. We offered to remove the interior motor for him (as he originally instructed), and ship that back saving us $100 in shipping and he refused to help us. Again and again this man was unhelpful and unconcerned about fixing a product he made that we purchased for over $700 CAD and used for under a year. He continually avoided any responsibility of his product malfunctioning and suggested it was our personal damage or misuse of the cooler and its cords, when in reality the cooler is in perfect condition and has BARELY BEEN USED. VERY DISAPPOINTED in this man's business ethics and his quality of product. If i had known we would be throwing $700 away on a fancy rubbermaid cooler with a few holes drilled into it, we would have made our own for travelling. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY unless you fully review their warranty and are prepared to lose your money if the incubator breaks. THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU OR TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR PRODUCT.
