I have been a customer for over 30+ years and my parents were customers before that. I say this because I don’t spend many visits in the front office but I have visited there. I have never been treated so kindly as the person you have working for you,Vanessa Mattingly in helping with the bill from my son who just passed away. I visited the office before when my mother passed away and was told there was nothing they could do for me and dismissed me. Ms. Mattingly took the time to explain everything and spoke clearly . She was kind, considerate and very respectful. I don’t know this young lady but I had to get her name so I good let you know what a great employee you have.

I asked for a 12 hour extension until I get my direct deposit. I've got a 4 month old baby in the house and it's cold. Everyone I talked to simply told me they couldn't help and I needed to pay the bill. I asked for an 8 hour extension. Shut down, no help available. Heartless, cruel, greedy company who is not the slightest bit concerned with leaving a 4 month old child without power when it's cold. It's all about the money with this one, the people don't matter.

This company is constantly trying to charge double and say I have a late fee I haven’t missed a payment in 30 years. I called and tried to resolve the issue and the lady hung up in my face. Trashy customer service and support way to expensive for horrible service I haven’t missed a payment as seen in photo below also not even 10 minutes after speaking with someone they removed my payment but I took a screenshot before they could here’s a before and after they removed my January payment. Trashy crooks!!!!!!!

It sucks we are so limited in having to use this company. We use the prepaid option, which is great! Very friendly and easy and makes things more simple for people like my family. What sucks: if you want to add someone authorized to just be on the account and make payments, you have to completely redo your ENTIRE application for prepaid power and they make you pay another $150 for the application.. but the thing is, it's already paid for and power is on for that location, all we want is to add a name so someone else can make the payments. Like my fiance. What happens with the low income families that use this option, and need to add someone for an emergency user or someone that can just help when times are low? They can't just come up with 150$ for your own satisfaction. To ADD A NAME TO A BILL. What?! This should be an illegal move, and it's definitely a discrimination against low income families.

25 min wait to pay bill. They turned a vets power off because he was in a coma and the lineman paid for it from VFW. Found this out in line. Black haired girl with tats was rude and has no customer service skills. Get another job.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I NEVER leave reviews because I know how they can affect small businesses. I have been late on my payments and that’s on me. But the fact that they added an over $400 late fee is beyond anything I have ever seen. If there was a way I could use another service I would. Absolutely ridiculous!

I paid my bill twice. The app does not show that I had scheduled a payment, so thinking my bill needed to be paid, I made a payment. Two payments were taken out of my bank account and EMC is refusing to help me. I'm disabled, on a fixed income and this means my family won't have food at the end of the month, but they don't care. Trisha never showed any sign of even being human. She never apologized for the issue or made any kind of statements outside speaking to me as if I were a computer as well. She stated that scheduled payments are displayed across the top of the app. This is not true! I looked everywhere. it did not show an indication at all that I had scheduled a payment. She refused to let me speak to the supervisor, stating that they're busy and will call me at their convenience. I said I would go to the office and talk to someone face to face and again was told that they wouldn't talk to me because they're busy. Trisha was insensitive and never showed any sign of humanity. If I had a choice in service providers I would terminate my service with EMC immediately! They do not care about their "members" at all. In an attempt to be responsible, I am being punished. That won't happen again. Also, they randomly started rounding up my bill without my permission but I didn't say anything because it's supposed to help people. I'm going to say something now.
