I cannot put into words how much that we are impressed with Bar Plating.

We dropped off a part for a 1937 Ahrens-Fox fire apparatus that was in a great need of plating and polishing. We could not find a shop in Rhode Island or nearby Massachusetts that could accommodate our needs.

When we reached out to Bruce, he was willing to work with us, we sent him dimensions and images of the distressed part, and he stated that he would do his best.

We dropped off the part, and a few weeks later, we received a call that it was ready. When I saw the photos of it, I was speechless.

The employees who worked on this part, obviously take pride in their workmanship, the 87-year-old part today, must look better than it did when it was new!

I've attached some images, see for yourself why you should just stop looking for a polishing and plating company and shop here.

Bruce and his crew are outstanding. Prices are fair, and the quality of work done by Bar Plating is excellent. They've done a number of pieces for me. One of the most significant is a large "horse collar" grill from my 1938 Ford one-ton truck. It was quite a challenge. Another plating company which was not up to the challenge chromed the grill originally and messed it up badly. Bruce had his crew redo that grill in a fraction of the time and with an infinitely better quality outcome for the same price. It's a matter of pride at Bar Plating. You'll see the results in your job.

Bruce and his staff did a PHENOMENAL job chrome plating my car parts! From oddly shaped coolant components, to coil covers, brackets and bolts. I live several states away and they were able to receive, complete and re-ship the products back to me painlessly. Packaged very well! Very pleased and will definitley be back for more future work!
