I’m extremely disappointed with my experience here. I made an appointment a month ago specifically for contacts and glasses, and was told that’s what the appointment would be for. Then, just 30 minutes before my appointment, I get a call saying they don’t do contacts at this location. That’s something I should’ve been told a month ago when I made the appointment, so I could’ve scheduled elsewhere and not wasted my time.

I still went in to talk to them and maybe get a prescription to transfer to another location, but the staff was rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. I was treated like I was bothering them just for asking questions and trying to reschedule. No one seemed to know what was going on—I spoke to at least four different women, and none of them could give a clear answer without running to the back multiple times. One older woman in particular, who had medium-length wavy hair, was especially rude and dismissive.

Overall, the experience felt chaotic and careless, and the way I was spoken to was unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend this office to anyone.

I had cataract surgeries in January 2025. Their brochure about their different levels of surgery only mentions the surgery that is covered by Medicare on the BACK of the brochure and this was not presented to me. I was guided to "choose" surgeries that cost a total of about $4000, and I was required to prepay for them. After contacting my regular eye care office, it is clear I "chose" lenses that I did not need. After prepaying for the surgeries, I then received a bill from Barnet Dulaney Perkins for an additional $1200, which was what they said was leftover from my insurance payment. I contacted my insurance company and they filed a grievance for me. I have a letter from my insurance company saying I will receive a refund because they overcharged me, but no refund has come. I prepaid for the surgeries and then they also billed my insurance company. Plus, I have called Barnet Dulaney Perkins MANY times and have never received any promised return calls. They are very dishonest in their marketing and billing.

Dr. Atodaria along with several other doctors (Dr. Funkey, Dr. Kopp) are excellent! The staff is excellent! The clinic and scheduling are HORRIBLE. I was asked yesterday to come in over an hour earlier because Dr. Atodaria had to leave early. I changed my schedule and came in earlier. All I did was spend more than two hours in the waiting rooms. The waiting rooms were filled with disgruntled patients. This is very disrespectful. A couple years ago, I went to another clinic because of this problem. Then I needed surgery so returned and things were better. Now, they are ridiculous again. It is not right! Staff members who are running around trying to help everyone having to deal with this. You can only see so many patients! Why hoard everyone in like cattle? I rate a 5 for the doctors and staff and ZERO for the clinic. If it continues, I will change again!

Wish I could give it negative stars. Very unhelpful staff, didn't even know what products they sell when we asked about something on the floor. Check in is all tablet based and there was only one person behind the counter (occasionally), and the one person we interacted with was rude.

This clinic is doing unethical practice. I had an appointment of DR Haward Berlin of December taken in September and a day before actual appointment I called to verify the appointment time and then associate shared that my appointment has been rescheduled with other doctor with notes that patient has requested to change the appointment. I was shocked how come they changed my appointment and said It requested by patient. In my point of view if clinic behavior is such an unethical I would afraid to go there regardless how good service they provide. Stay away with any clinic who practices such an unethical way and providing untrusted information. - Thanks

I was seen by Michael Stagner MD today as a last minute booking to check on my eye. Long wait time, but there usually is and it’s expected. The appointment was at 1:40pm and I walked out at 3pm. The experience was a bit traumatic for me as he was trying to lift my upper eye lid to check if anything was there. The pressure and discomfort of that experience made me start crying as I never had any eye doctor try to do that when I was complaining of feeling like something is in my eye. He didn’t explain into detail what he was trying to do as I was traumatized after his first attempt. I informed him that this is new to me and that it feels weird and uncomfortable as there is pressure on my eye when he is doing that. I felt extremely uncomfortable. He made things worst by saying most likely there is nothing there. I left crying and said I am not ok when the assistant asked. She walked me out saying just to call them back if I still have issues. I still don’t know if something is wrong with my eye. I am still in shock after this appointment and I feel horrible! I still feel the pressure on my eye. You go to the doctor to receive care not to leave feeling traumatized! I feel worst than I did when I walked in with my concern regarding my eye.

My review is not in any way reflective of the Dr, but the wait time is ridiculous. Appt at 10:30. Finally done at noon. 15 minute wait to schedule an appt. This is not a one time occurrence.
