I had an awesome experience with Bartholomew Electric LLC. Todd is a great electrician who explains everything clearly, why it’s needed, and gives tips to keep things running well. He’s got a great personality—really upbeat and easy to talk to. Danielle and Scott were fantastic too.

Their communication is on point—they answer the phone, return calls, and even email. They always show up on time and work quickly but carefully. They’re professional with their logoed trucks and uniforms, and they’re clean with no smoking, vaping, or cussing. Overall, they made me feel really confident about having them back for more work and recommending them to others.

Todd, Scott, Danielle, and everyone in the office has been fabulous. They answered all of our questions promptly and were upfront with options, pricing, expectations, and execution. Scheduling was a breeze and they showed up on time for each phase of our Kohler Generator installation and set-up. The app for monitoring the generator is easy to use and also monitored by Bartholomew in case something happens that we miss. We spoke with a few different Kohler Generator installers and right away, we knew Bartholomew Electric and Todd were the right fit for us. Since installation and final inspection, the Kohler Generator has already come in handy a few times. It's a fabulous piece of mind, especially given the multiple sump pumps in our cellar. Had issue with bathroom lights not staying on. Would flash on, then off, or stay on very dim. This happened as I was going to bed. Called Bartholomew at 9am the next day. They got an electrician out here that afternoon! Kate was very knowledgeable and friendly. She took the fixture off to check the connections and all were good. Checked the switch and it was faulty. She replaced both switches (one for exhaust fan) and also looked at the fan that was making noise. Took down the fan and cleaned out all the buildup and also fixed the light in it that wasn't working. Gave me a rough estimate of cost to replace the one on its last leg. Will call them back to get a new one.
The cost is not inexpensive but I feel I got a quality job by a quality person and that's important.

$625 to replace a plug. Trouble shoot for hours and could not fix or find the problem they came for. I had to call them back 3 times and the answer i got for the person answering the phone was well Nate said they will probably have top re-wire it and that would be around $2,400 more. Finding out by another contractor it's obviously the pool light. Thanks for nothing Bartholomew Electric. The least you could have done is call me back but you didn't even have the courtesy to do that after you got paid for next to nothing. I paid for resolution. I got nothing back but a ridiculous bill for an outlet. Jerry

A car accident knocked out a telephone pole in front of my house causing the wires and meter box to be ripped off my house and eversource said i needed an electrian to come out before they can restore power so I called them and they were here within a half hour, they got the job done and also fixed mistakes in my electrical panel so it could pass inspection with the town. Great job to all the guys that worked on it.

I was having issue with my baseboard heater in the bathroom. They were very responsive to my request for service. Gary came out to do the repair work and did a great job fixing my heater. He explained what was going on with the old heater and what needed to be done to fix it. Very Professional job.
