Very impressed with Paul and his team for the work they did on my three exterior deck railings. I consider myself very selective with anybody working on my home and Bay Area Railings exceeded my expectations.

Pricing transparency, communication, and craftsmanship were all what I was looking for. Paul is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. You will know upon first speaking with him that he takes pride in his service and products. Even my general contractor was blown away by how precise Paul is with his work at every step, which leaves little to no room for mistakes or rework. His renderings were very helpful for me to see the final product and avoid unwanted surprises.

Highly recommended if you want somebody reliable who will get the job done exactly or better than you imagined. Deck railing photos speak for themselves! I even kept him on board to do the railings on my interior & exterior stairs. Easy 5 stars.

Bay Area Railings fabricated great railings at a fantastic price for my deck project! When Paul came out and scanned the area, he even suggested using glass instead of cable railing in the middle section, which I think looks sleeker than the original design.

Even though there were some schedule delays, I really appreciated that they were still able to squeeze the install in before the holidays.

Overall, am I very happy with how the railings turned out!

Long overdue review but exciting to share the outcome of my project, thanks to BAR. Easy to install rail system at a unbeatable price. Installed it myself over the course of a couple days. Would highly recommend it. Paul the owner was very knowledgeable and provided great guidance on how to tackle the installation with all required parts and fasteners.

Bay Area Railing were professional fast and knew exactly what I needed. He was communicative throughout the process and made recommendations on what looked good. His pricing and turnaround time is very fair. Would definitely go to them again if I needed any other railing needs. Highly recommended!

Paul and Bay Area Railings were outstanding!! I needed cable railings for a deck remodel where I was going to do the DIY installation. I gave Paul the proposed deck layout and my requirements and he designed the actual post layout and gave me what I thought was a very fair price for the materials.
Then, as with most DIY projects, life got in the way and it wasn't until a year later that I actually placed the order. Paul stood by the original estimate which was refreshing compared to a lot of businesses. He also spent a lot of time with me discussing the best way to install the posts and cables (which I'd never done before) and pointed me to the best places to get the stainless hardware I needed to secure the posts.
I went to their facility many times to pick up material, get advice and even had them fix a couple of cable fittings that turned out to be defective - all the employees were friendly and so helpful.
I still haven't quite finished my DIY'ing but Bay Area Railings helped the project turn out much better than I thought it would. Highly recommend them!!!
