I'll start with the good. The two men who came out and did the moving were AWESOME. They worked very hard and were very well mannered. We're really grateful for their assistance. I would give them 5 stars,

However... there were issues with scheduling and payment.

First, the scheduling was entered for the wrong hour. In addition we were supposed to get calls with ETA. We called several times and were told we'd get a call back when they were en route but we never did. We almost didn't need them by the time they showed up.

Second, you are required to PREPAY a 2 hour minimum and it cannot be cancelled. This is an unusual business practice and the 2 hours includes their drive time to and from your site. This means if you're 30 minutes away from them, you only get one hour of moving help even though you pay or 2. I understand prepaying simply because people can be such flakes they they have a business to run. But I think the drive time should either not be charged for or at least a lower, known rate than the hard labor time.

Finally, I was charged over a 10% convenience fee for using my credit card. I cannot imagine any bank card charging that much. They take cash or check, but it's awfully inconvenient to pay that way when you have to pay upon booking. Be very clear on your charges up front, estimated drive times, etc. if you use this company.

Response to their response:

We were given a ONE hour window, not 2-3 hours and it was missed because it was recorded incorrectly in their system and their truck was not ready.

Two hour minimum IS normal. Prepayment of the full amount and no cancellation window is NOT (35+ years dealing with and managing vendors and contractors, including movers). I do give allowances for small businesses though, who can’t always be as flexible with their finances, which is why I paid it without complaint. I just want customers to be aware of this when they call.

I responded to the texts (12 sent in rapid succession that I could not entirely make sense of but I was away from my phone/busy) and called back later that afternoon, left a voicemail, and sent a follow-up text indicating the matter is closed. I can show phone/text records if they need a refresher.

The Bearded Brothers moved a large 3 door commercial refrigerated cooler for me, they were fast, knowledgeable, and were very kind. Not to mention we’re available right when we needed them. I highly recommend them and will use them again in the future for our moving needs!

They did a decent job for me. In the process my new tv was broken. I contacted them and they quickly replaced it and even upgraded it to a bigger one! I was a little perturbed that I had to pick it up but all in all I was moved quickly.

Same Day!!! These guys were awesome! Went ordered furniture and within the hour they picked it up and delivered. For the same amount it would have cost to haul to the dump they did it for us!

We hired Bearded Brothers to move our very heavy furniture to our new home a few weeks ago. They were awesome. They moved everything so fast and with great care. They disassembled our beds in minutes and assembled them at our new place so quickly. We were very impressed and will definitely use them again.

The crew from Bearded Brothers did a great job. They are both careful and speedy, which is impressive. And they are geniuses of Tetris-style packing to fit the maximum amount of containers and furniture in their truck. I will definitely call them again for the next stage of the move.

Used 2 days in a row. They left a mess and didn’t clean it up. I called James about it expecting decent customer service and maybe a broom, but got belittled. He said he didn’t see a mess left behind but I have photos. I left my house before they left :((( NEVER Leave movers alone at your place. I made a huge rookie mistake! My fault. And I’ve paid for it. Fair ending I deserved. Will know better next time, hoping you’ll learn before you make the mistake using a company without BBB accreditation! There’s no accountability otherwise. No insurance. No care for customer service!
