I recently had Bevis Construction replace the old pressure treated lumber on my dock with new PVC decking. From the time I reached out to Chris for an estimate until the project was finished, Bevis Construction did an outstanding job. I worked with Taylor on scheduling, she is fantastic with follow up and follow through. Austin and Trenton did the actual tear out and replacement of the decking, both are exceptional carpenters with a focus on customer satisfaction. For anyone looking to replace decking or have any type of dock or seawall repair/construction completed, I would highly recommend Bevis Construction (see attached photos of completed deck).

Mike and his staff were so very nice to us as we began our retirement journey. He made us feel like a part of the community even though we just arrived. Bobby was very attentive to our wants and needs. We haven't decided on a builder yet, but Bevis Construction was very impressive.

Let me tell you...... this team, VA builders, is just great to work with. They understand what us customers are going through and do everything they can to make this less stressful, explain the who, what, why,s so we feel a part of this build. If it wasn't for their interaction we would have backed out. Though the home is just now being constructed I have confidence in its success. Check back for an update when the house is complete

I have lived in Fort Worth, TX for 8 years now, but I am originally from Lake Placid, FL. I joined the Marines in 1999 to serve my country. That is how I ended up here in Texas. As a young kid, I always said to myself that one day I will leave Lake Placid, but I would always come back and help my community. Four years ago, a nonprofit organization (Determined to Succeed) helped me put together an essay contest for our community (Highway Park). Several young ladies volunteered, but only three young ladies won! The young ladies won a trip to Dallas, Texas to hand out with me for a few days. Determined to Succeed had several car washes to help fund the trip. I myself, also helped donated funds for the young ladies trip. A few weeks before the trip, the founder and I still was in need of funds to make this trip possible for the girls. Bevis Construction donated a generous amount to the organization! I never built a house with the company and I never meet the owners, but knowing that they care about the kids in our community makes my heart smile! It is a blessing to know that it is awesome companies like this still exists! I know this was a few years ago, but every time I think of this companies kind heart, it makes me realize that their are still good people in this world! If I ever build in the Lake Placid area, Bevis Construction would be the first company I would call! Thanks again Bevis Construction for all that you do! May God bless your company!

If I could give 0 starts I would. I Would not recommend this company to anyone. Especially for renting houses. They are disrespectful, unprofessional, and do not fix the things they should as LANDLORDS. Half of there homes need to be reported to the health department. Also when you call to set up a meeting them to build your home, the owner blows you off and doesn’t return your calls for weeks. We were in one of his rental properties and they FINALLY called a septic company after 3 weeks of our room being flooded and septic water sinking into the floor to come fix ONE of our issues and even the septic man said sent our said they have a hard time collecting there money from bevis and he had no clue why they even do work for them anymore. They are Just all around unprofessional and need to go back to business school. That’s goes for bevis’s Wife as well! Good luck to anyone who rents from these people or has them build your new home!
