I purchased a couple of great ribeyes here recently! They have a large selection of meat to choose from and have great customer service! Grab a ticket when you walk in and then browse the meat counter. Also tried the tacos here on Saturday which were excellent! They are packed full of meat and are fresh and hot!

Love their smoked pork chops for my German lentil soup. Great selection of other meats, including kidney, cow tongue etc. My dogs love their smoked bones. I buy a couple large ones and ask them to cut them down into smaller pieces. Great service.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!
Saturdays are busy ! But worth the chaos. Bought amazing tamales, had Asada quesadilla was best I have ever had.
The service is personable and friendly, doaent matter have many people are in there they treat you like you are their only customer.
We will go there for all of our meat!

Our group bought several quesadillas and some tacos. There was a line so we figured it was a popular place and probably good. The food was alright however $5 for a taco seems a bit much. There were no salsa bar as stated in previous reviews. We were provided with one sauce cup per order and any more was extra.

Heaping portions of meat in their corn tortilla tacos and flour tortilla quesadillas. I had the carnitas quesadilla and lengua tacos. Both meats were delicious. They have a wide variety of red and green salsas, from mild to pretty hot. Great flavor. Long line at 11 a.m.

I love buying meat from Bichelmeyer’s, it’s my favorite butcher shop in KC.
My favorite item to buy is skirt meat to grill at home.
This butcher shop has a ton of variety of meat to buy.
I definitely recommend this place.

Looking for a knowledgeable butcher is actually harder than it seems. I called around, looking for jerky cuts. A lot of people get there meat from a separate source but Bichelmeyer Meats is a real butcher place. They will cut the meat in front of you. Tony is my contact and he is still there. I live in Liberty, Missouri and still travel 45 minutes to get there because it’s worth it. I will get pictures when I go in next.
