The details of my purchase and experience with the BTR are below...
Some background, I am a mechanical engineer with over 25 years of experience designing, testing, globally sourcing, servicing, marketing, and manufacturing compact tractors and utility vehicles. I have five patents for products used on diesel engines and utility vehicles.

A few years ago, I bought some acreage and a JD 1025 (Thanks to Tim Marks @ TTWT) to clear the property. I was fortunate enough to be able to add several accessories to my tractor purchase, including a grapple and forklift. I saw the BTR, but unfortunately, I did not purchase it then.

Hurricane Helene came through my area several weeks back. It took us over 30 hours of work to saw, rake & move 12 large pine trees off my house and property. I dragged my tools, axes, fuel, wedges, spare chains, safety gear, and saws around in the grapple and ballast box. I frequently walked back to the garage to get more tools because there was not enough storage on the tractor. Not buying the BTR became a big regret that week. Once I got the property cleaned up, insurance claims in process, and my contractors lined up to repair the house, it was time to revisit purchasing the BTR.

After reading through the BTR web site multiple times, I had a few questions. I emailed Tim Descoteaux, the owner and inventor. Tim promptly answered my questions and offered his phone number if I needed more assistance. I took Tim up on his offer, and we had an informative and excellent discussion. Needless to say, I ordered the BTR!

I received the BTR in a well-packaged, sturdy wooden box. Using my JD 1025 and pallet forks (Thanks again to a Tim Marks @ TTWT recommendation), I lifted it off the semi-trailer and took it to my garage. The box showed signs of abuse by the freight carriers. No worries though, the contents were well protected by the shipping box (well done Tim D.). I opened the box, and with assistance from my sister-in-law, we spent a few hours assembling the BTR.

The instructions were great. The only issues we had were determining the orientation of the tailgate cable and crossbar brackets. Note, I assembled the entire BTR on my pallet forks, which was a simple way to do it (Safety tip: when you use the pallet forks in this manner, place the empty wooden shipping box underneath the pallet forks. Then, slowly let the forks down so the box can take some of the weight. This step is necessary just in case someone accidentally hits the controls, the forks settle downward as you add weight, and to catch any parts you drop. Be smart, be safe.) Tip: Make sure you follow the note in the instruction manual that says you must keep fasteners loose until you have all the main parts in place and holes aligned. The only other issue I had was deciding how to configure all the tool holders. A great problem to have!

Once finished, I lined my tractor up to the BTR and hooked it on my JD iMatch Quick hitch. I only had to make a quick adjustment to the 3-point hitch Top Link, and I hooked her up. The next step was where to place all my tools. You can see my final load and configuration in the pics.

Bottomline: Awesome product and company to do business with. I am looking forward to heading to the woods to cut up more fallen trees and remove more debris from the Hurricane.

Outstanding tractor implement which is truly a game changer for your machine. It's the tractor implement I delayed buying while I "thought about it," and now I realize how much precious time and energy I wasted thinking about buying it.

It's the best investment in implements I have made for my tractor and I own 14 implements. My favorite tractor implement, no question.

I should have just ordered it and gotten busy using the Bigtoolrack Ultimate long before I did. It's now on my tractor 98% of the time and makes my tractor and my time much more productive.

Tim is excellent to deal with. The product is incredible. Don't make the same mistake wasting time "thinking it over". Order the BigToolRack and get busy. You will be very glad you did.

It can carry all kinds of important things, even my pal Tatanka who is a King Shepherd. Of course, he doesn't ride there with the tailgate down, but the BTR Ultimate sure gets his vote as well as mine......You will wonder how you have gotten along without it.

My ONLY regret was I waited to buy my BigToolRack Ultimate. Don't delay....

I purchased the quick hitch attachment due to me always struggling with the attachments for my Kubota Tractor, not as easy as they show on the videos. I found Tim's sight, very reasonable price and ordered it on a Sunday. Had to be less then half an hour later, he calls me and asks if he can just drop it off since I am only a short distance from him. Not a problem, how many companies are willing to do that, especially on a Sunday? Just like the video it took 2 and half minutes to install and now I do not fight every time I need to change attachments. Whatever I may need he will be the first stop to see if he carries it. I had to enlist the services of a local welding shop to properly mount the rack on my Husqvarna 354 garden tractor, but the extra effort was well worth it. This is one terrific tool I use all the time on our 10 acres in NW Montana. It’s easy to detach but it never comes off!

Just purchased the , ultimate tool rack the quick hitch and a few accessories! What can I say, but wow! This rack is awesome! The quality, fit and finish is excellent and Tim and his staff were very professional and proficient. It was in my driveway less than 48 hour after I placed the order. It arrived unscathed in a plywood box that was quite impressive. The rack took me 4 hours to assemble by myself and went together like a dream. Worth every penny! Quality like this is hard to come by these days. I I highly recommend the ultimate tool rack!

This is only my second review, but I felt compelled to share my experience with the Big Tool Rack - Yard Rack and the outstanding customer service.

The yard rack is built like a tank! Its easy to install on my BX23s and is even easier to store when not in use. If Google allowed extra stars for customer service, I’d give Tim 10 more for his assistance finding the right fit for my needs and budget.

The only "flaw" we’ve noticed with the Big Tool Rack - Yard Rack is that my wife now has to take longer walks with the dogs to hit her daily step goal, since she doesn't need to make multiple trips to the shed for tools!
