Always one of the best reasons for living in the area. They are affiliated with our family physicians and react quickly and even during the pandemic we could count on them. The wait can be difficult for some but they take care of all patients. The are convenient to get to and are next door to cvs and Safeway pharmacy.

Today I needed a TB test for volunteering for my kid's school. Making an appointment with Kaiser was going nowhere, but I ran across the street on my lunch break and was in and out in 5 minutes. Super nice to be able to get the easy stuff knocked out at this place, when Kaiser is too impacted.

Stay away from this place at all costs. One advantage is that it's the only one in the neighborhood. When you're sick, you can't avoid it. I tried to get a typhoid vaccine and was told it would be quick. They figure out after an hour and a half that I need to see a doctor to get my prescription and that'll take another 45 minutes. There's no respect for patience time. It's a walk-in clinic, so if they're busy, they should tell you up front. There were no people in the lobby, but apparently people were in the cars . Called cvs and schedule visit and it cost 20% less .

Thank you guys for taking care of my elderly mom (95yo) this past Friday 12-1-23. She was there for a severe sore throat. She told me how the nurses there were soooo nice .She explained how one of the male nurses even helped her with a problem she was having with her car! That is exceptional on their part IMHO! Where does that happen these days? Props to Blackhawk Medical emergency clinic.

I gave 1 star because the nurse practitioner was nice. The front desk stuff was not friendly and even didn’t use normal greetings as hi, what I can help you. She was in a bad bad moody. My daughter had ear pain/ infection and the prescription was a messy with the pharmacy location and no pharmacy could find the prescription and my daughter ended up without medicine. I had to take her to the ER because of all the neglect of this place.
I don’t recommend it at all.

Nurse took vitals, tested me for flu and strep then left me in the room for an hour. Doctor came in, hadn't read the vitals and tried to retest me. Prescribed medicine and called it in to some random CVS 10 miles away after I asked twice it be called in next door. Had to wait another 45 mins to get the mix up fixed. Not a great experience.

I have used this clinic multiple times when my primary care physician could not get me in. There has been some staff turn over recently and I find everyone here competent and highly professional. The best you could expect for a walk in clinic.

JUST A LITTLE THNG! but I could not hear in my right ear. I swim frequently and have never had a problem, so I called the Walk-in-Clinic and she said pleasantly, "I think we can help you". And yes they did, 30 minutes later I walked out, no referrals, little waiting time and friendly staff and I could hear equally well out of both ears. Avoided a $3500 hearing aid bill!
