We had been searching for a long time for the right way to finish a very large French door unit with a semicircular transom above in our master bedroom. We wanted privacy but also didn’t want to completely obscure the beautiful outside view and entertained several options of custom draperies, all of which fell short of an ideal solution.

While researching possible companies, we came across Blind & Shade Products and saw that they had done great work at a local waterfront hotel with awnings. We were also thinking of one of these for our backyard patio and, so, contacted Ray Dube. From our very first meeting it was clear that this was a very professional organization but, being family owned, able to give that extra personal touch. Ray had some great ideas for ways to cover the French doors, which we hadn’t considered and quickly decided on a plan of action. From custom plantation shutters to cover the transom to the motorized shears providing privacy but allowing the view, everything was done perfectly!

We also ended up ordering an awning for the patio allowing us to expand our outdoor space when the weather gets warmer.
The quality of the work and products were all top notch and pricing was very reasonable considering the workmanship. Ray was always very responsive to my inquiries and, once the products were manufactured and delivered, installation happened quickly.

These guys are amazing!!! My wife and I have this beautiful deck that we like to enjoy with friends and family.
