I would like to share my experience and thoughts on Jeff. My wife and I have been looking tirelessly for months at house after house (feels like hundreds of houses) trying to make a decision on what we want and the price range we want to pay. We were very close to purchasing a house in Fate TX until we came across Bloomfield homes in Royce City per our realtor. We currently reside in Verandah, which is about 8 minutes from Stone River Glen where Jeff is located. So we thought, why not check it out. We did not want a new build because of how long it would take. We wanted to move as quickly as possible. Keep in mind that we spoke to many builders but were convinced it was not the direction we wanted to head in. UNTIL WE MET WITH JEFF!!

He was so professional and had an unmatched willingness to help. Not to mention a great understanding of our needs, which was very important to us. He was NOT trying to sell us something or make a sale. He was very much trying to help. We told him we were just looking and had many questions. He answered all of them and some and still was not overwhelmingly trying to make a sale. Rather than that, he was such a help with explaining the process, the pros and cons. I mean, it was so personal, like talking to a good friend you have known for several years. Also, he kept offering us drinks and snacks, which was just so awesome. We felt so comfortable in the home with him and basically wore him out with question after question and scenario after scenario, and he NEVER waivered. This guy is something special. We left that day thinking we want a new build now just so we can deal with Jeff. I guarantee we would not have made this decision if it wasn't for Jeff. He is remarkable! Give this guy a raise and a paid vacation ASAP because he is a spectacular salesman. As far as paying attention to the buyers' needs, having all the knowledge and ability to explain things simply and thoroughly, and handling the most ridiculous questions with class and patience, this guy is first class!

We went to a different builder just to see what they had to offer, and immediately, the vibe was off. This guy was trying to make a sale so bad that it was uncomfortable. After 5 minutes, we wanted to just GET OUT! This is the normal feeling you get with these different places. With Jeff, it was the complete opposite. So we said yes! He ended up getting us a bigger and better home with a bigger lot, exactly how we wanted it for less than what we were about to pay in Fate. With all the bells and whistles and everything included. We have had last minute indecisive decisions that we have changed our mind on, making things probably terrible for Jeff, but he is so consistent as he has been since the beginning and reassures us that it's no issue. Whatever we want. Words can't express how grateful we are for him and how easy he has made this entire process for my wife and I and our family. We are in debt to Jeff, but we are glad we are able to work with someone so amazing! Thank you Jeff!

We bought a Bloomfield home in Stone River Royse City and couldn't be happier. We're so glad we chose this builder as everything went very smoothly. Jeff Gibson is a rock star! He made us feel at ease with every step of the process and communicated with us frequently. I highly recommend Bloomfield Homes to anyone looking to buy a beautiful home.

BUYER BEWARE!!! Our experience with Bloomfield in Stone River has been an absolute nightmare! The industry delays are understandable, but there is absolutely no excuse for the way those have been handled or communicated to us throughout this entire process. We have had to pull teeth to get any sort of information on our build. The only time we ever get updates is when we ask, and even then, a lot of times we get a short rude answer or none at all. Every single “projection” we are given is WAY off - constantly over promising and under delivering. There is no good reason why people we know started new builds in other communities after we started ours and closed months ago, but we haven’t. Other builders and communities are dealing with the same predicament this builder is but seem to be managing and communicating it much better. We have caught Chris, the builder for this community, in blatant lies to us multiple times. At this point, I’m tired of being lied to and have plenty of emails and recordings to back it up. Our agent even says despite the pandemic and weather delays, this is the worst builder/community she has worked with for any of her clients. Lucky us! We will be contacting corporate and getting the word out to local and social media about our horrific experience with Chris and Bloomfield in Stone River.

UPDATE: Our agent did as the "response from the owner" asked and contacted Mike. It was a waste of time! All he did was give every excuse in the book, being defensive and argumentative. The lack of communication from the builder has been our biggest complaint. I totally get that there are delays because of COVID, snow storms, and a month of rain. Anybody can understand that. What I don't understand is how we have been given closing dates (yes, they were "projected") time and time again with such confidence, but somehow still haven't been able to close. Anytime we try to get updates, it is blamed on the worldwide pandemic, or the rain and we don't get an actual clear answer of what is going on with our house. At one point we were told by Chris, the builder, that he cannot provide daily updates on all aspects of the build process and shortages. Apparently, he cannot provide ANY updates. If you want to hear about the fact that your house won't be built on time due to delays, pandemics, snow storms, or rain then this is your place to go. There is zero responsibility taken, apologies, or communication. At this point it has been clear to my husband and I that the builder just didn't know how to adapt to the crazy that 2020 brought. All we wanted was communication and to know what was going on. Now we have been packed for 2 weeks, living out of boxes, hoping that we will get a closing date soon since it was just pushed back AGAIN less than a week before we were told we would close.
