Excellent customer service! He sold us two carports, one large for RV and one small for trucks. We are very pleased with the service and price! I recommend him for all of your carport needs!!

I would NOT recommend this business!!! 8 months after order was placed and we still have no building. We were promised a date 12 to 14 weeks. (Feb 2021)

I have never criticized a local business, but I wish someone had warned me and told me what I am about to share with you.

David Bohannon, at Bohannon Buildings on Greenvally Rd in Glencoe, gave us an estimated installation date for our 31x18 metal building to cover our RV at our lake lot on Weiss Lake in Centre, AL in November 2020.

We paid over $300 downpayment/deposit and expected our building by mid to late February 2021 according to Bohannon's promises.. Its now July 2021 and we still don't have our building. Still waiting.

We've gotten the run around from him and his distribution site, Carolina Carports out of NC. Terrible customer service. Won't answer phone, Won't return calls. Finally got estimated date of end of May. No building. Called Bohanmon June 1 but three weeks later, I never heard back from the voicemessage that i left him..

Got a call from someone local who ordered their building in March 2021 and theirs was installed yesterday, June 27, 2021. Husband went to that work site and talked to the men installing his bldg. They gave us another number to call.

After talking to several people at Carolina Carports we learned that they don't care when you placed your order. If it's less than a $5000 order, they aren't installing them right now. Yiure being put on the bavk burner with mo date in site. They are only installing the ones over $5000. Ours was $2800. So no telling when or if we'll ever get it.

Our building permit runs out in November. If we don't have this bldg up and other projects done by then that have to be done AFTER our building is up, we have to pay another $450 for another building permit.

This is so wrong. We should have been put in line in order that we placed our order, regardless of cost. Bad business!!

Terrible customer service. Doing their customers wrong and taking advantage of them and the fact that your hands are tied because you can't get your money back without going to court, and to order another building from somewhere else now would cost us an additional $1000 because of the "increase in metal prices."

Notice the good reviews were made a LONG time ago. According to the BBB there are many complaints now against this business. Maybe they can get something done about this poor way of doing business.

Don't use Bohannon Buildings. Don't order from anyone unless you get a guaranteed installation date in writing. We trusted David Bohannon. Lesson learned too late. Very disappointed in this local business.

I have delt with Bohannon Buildings on several occasions and had a good expeirence each time. I am re-contacting Bohannon Buildings after several years to look at his storage and garage type buildings. I would recommend the company and that is why I am looking to do more business with them years later.
