Okay, This is the miracle repair of my 24 year old Columbus Steel bicycle. My bike frame was made by Antonio Mondonico in Italy and marketed under Torelli. I hit a railroad track the wrong way just after the MS150 and bent, cracked my front fork. No one, and I mean no one, would touch the bike because of its age and particular fork design. I walked into BBW with my sad story, when one of the Mechanics said, "I know that frame and its maker." Oh, Boy, I had hit it big. Problem was no one made that fork any more. But wait, the Mechanic said, "I think a man bought Torelli and may still be in business." I called Torelli, and spoke with the new owner Todd and he was willing to help, but they only had one fork from era and it wasn't chromed. With some crying on my part and a willingness to part with half of my life savings, Todd agreed to have the fork chromed and shipped to BBW in time for me to ride in the September Great Cycle Challenge. The shop got the fork, rebuilt the front end and I am 418 miles of 500 mile target and $3,000 into my September charity ride. Russell Boyd 82nd Airborne.

I brought my old DEAN hardtail for maintenance after another shop told me to buy a new bike and Brian and his staff did an amazing job. Great service with integrity, speed and precision. Look for me and my DEAN Colonel out on the trails. Brian and staff are very knowledgeable and professional. Hands down the best bike shop in Boulder.

Brian (owner) is as nice of human as you could hope for. He gave me more time than I could hoped for and was incredibly knowledgable. His generosity and kindness left an impression. Also, the work they did of rebuilding my wheel was perfect. All in all an amazing bike shop!

I came down to Boulder from Canada in December to visit family. While winter had arrived north of the border and I was limited to the trainer, Colorado still had clear roads and warm temperatures. I jumped on my son's Giant Propel (my old bike) for a ride but quicky noted an issue with the rear wheel. He recommended BBW and after a quick call I took the wheel down to the shop. The guys were so accommodating and knowledgable. They replaced the bearings in a few hours (good price too) and I was back on the road for the rest of the week. Thanks so much BBW!

What a place! Despite being an avid biker, I didn't even know it existed until I had a bad crash and broke my rear derailleur and a friend suggested I take my bike there. They were fast, and did excellent work. Brian and his team are friendly and efficient...I highly recommend them!!!

Hidden gem!
Can’t believe I didn’t find this shop until recently! Service is top notch, vibe is so good, no frills just real. 4 mechanics and they crush on every level. I race bikes and have an E-Bike. This shop has built both my race bike and E-bike, serviced my gravel and TT bikes. Always available, helpful, knowable, professional.
AND they have a female mechanic?
Thanks BBW!

These guys are seasoned experts, professionals, reasonably priced for their top-notch services, helpful, and super down-to-earth. I brought in my wife’s and my Schwinn Cruisers for a complete tune up. The turn around time was only 24 hrs, they were communicative when the bikes were ready for pickup, and explained the details of the work in a way that was easy to understand. I will absolutely be coming back to Boulder Bicycle Works for all future bike work.
