In their zeal to profit more in the high tax area they’re located, instead of moving to a low tax state they’ve resorted to outsourcing their steel fittings to China, apparently with no oversight.

As an electrical contractor lately we’ve been experiencing fitment issues. One side of a coupling will go on the conduit and the other won’t. Took 3 couplings to join one section today.

Three weeks ago experienced the same thing in a 100F plus attic. No excuse for this.

I notified my supplier I was buying no more Bridgeport fittings as long as they came from China. Costing me more than it’s saving and as a contractor I don’t need to be taking three attempts to join two sticks of conduit all the time.

Madison I learned are made in the US and US quality I’ve never had quality issues with before.
