*DO NOT GO HERE* I was an out-of-state hunter and on Thanksgiving Day when I killed a monster buck, this seemed to be a convenient location for processing and mounting. The meat was processed quickly and at a fair price. I was told my mount would be ready for pickup in only a few short months, shorter than I am used to seeing back home in Georgia and at a cheaper rate, so I decided to trust Scott when I shouldn’t have. I specifically asked that my deer be weighed because of the size but they forgot to do this before processing. I asked for my hide back, and they could not locate and gave me someone else’s hide as a “trade” but I brushed this all off too. My calls and texts to check the status of the deer were not returned and the voice mail became full. Our family drove 8 hours just to check on the status and that is when the call was finally answered - but only when I was at the front door. When we entered, deer heads were unmarked throughout the location – no numbering systems or names written matching the hunters to their deer. When we requested to pick up the unfinished product, we were called to the back to “pick out” the deer that I believed to be mine. I brought the unfinished horns and the skin back home in a vacuum sealed bag. I kept this in a cooler of ice for our 8-hour ride back home. When I arrived at a new taxidermy the following day, we opened the bag that was given to us only to learn I was lied to by Scott AGAIN. He told us he had tanned the deer but hadn’t had time to finish yet but would have it done if we could have given him just two more weeks. Instead, the cape was rotten and could no longer be used for anything. Scott blamed his negligence on health issues and although I believe there are some health concerns, this was not to the extent of him being unable to call or text. This all should have been communicated to us sooner before he ruined my monster buck. Shame on you, Scott. I hope others pick up their deer from you before it’s too late for them too.

My family has used Buck's for as long as I can remember and had always done great work. Unfortunately this past year I used them for my first deer. Price and turn around time were great as always. However, this time upon pick up we were told that my cape had been "moved" and they couldn't find it but would give us a call once it was located. I've yet to get my cape or even a call apologizing that it wasn't found. We also only received a small portion of our backstrap and our ground meats were either under 1lb or around 1.5-2lbs packaged. We had several packages of ground meat that were so overfilled the bottoms of the packaging had bubbled and ripped.

Scott runs an honest business and does good quality work. I brought him my deer and he did a great job and got more meat off of it than I would have. He stands by his work and has honest pricing and doesn’t try to rip you off. I will continue to bring my deer to him.

Brought deer in on Dec 6, 2020 to be processed. Picked up ground meat and was informed the sausage was not ready and will call when it was ready for pick up. They told me my sausage will be ready the week of Christmas. I followed up the week of Christmas and was told again that it will be the New Year. I have been trying to contact them about my sausage and cannot get through. It is now Jan 8, 2021 and still no sausage. Bucks processing will not communicate with me. No answer when you call. Needless to say, I DO NOT recommend them nor will I ever use them again. Lesson learned.

We used them back in October and the turn around time was reasonable and quick. The people were so kind and professional. Also, I grew up with a pawpaw that made his own sausage and it was well known in our little area... This was the closest tasting to my pawpaw's sausage I've had since he has passed... It was delicious and we will be using them again....SOON!!!

Do not use this processor. They absolutely butchered my beef.Can't tell a ribeye from a sirloin. All cuts look the same. NEVER AGAIN

Was not cut as like we agreed on. Will not use again. Use Lou Allen worth the Waite.
