They are doing construction outside my apartment for the last 3 nights starting at 8 pm and ended around MIDNIGHT! This should be illegal. It’s a noise violation and is disturbing my sleep and my 7 year old daughter’s sleep. This NOT okay.

Update- the company did not obtain a noise waiver from the city of Stamford and should not have been allowed to do the construction.

Burns Construction just wrapped a week long project on my street and in front of my home, involving the gas lines (the last week of July, 2024). We were so impressed with the gentlemen from Burns. There was no vulgarity, no spitting, no one relieving themselves outdoors, and they left zero litter behind. They were respectful of people's property and were always polite and courteous. We have had several other construction companies as well as crews of city workers come to do various projects on our street over the years. It has nearly always been a less than positive experience. We have never encountered such professionalism, day in and day out, as we have with Burns. We just wanted to thank the crew and wish you all well. God bless.

I would like to thank Burns Construction for helping our community. Where I live in Wallingford CT there was a milling job done about a year ago and it was done professionally, safely, and cleanly. I drive down this road everyday. Job well done !!!

Burns just did my driveway at my home here in Stratford. Tore up old and did a new larger design. The work is impeccable, the runoff /drainage seems perfect so far. Very neat, and quality work for a great price I thought. I don't usually write reviews but Im very impressed and they deserve it.

They’ve taken 2 years to fix a bridge that’s maybe 15 feet long. They’ve made excuses of water levels, timing and paperwork along the way. It disrupts a key cut through for thousands of people and has lead to huge delays and a death from a cop having to speed around the detour and striking a civilian. Absolutely asinine.

We were interested in using Burns for pavement service. Reached out, received competitive quote , and was told I'd receive email with contract and next steps. A week goes by, nothing- after sending weekly follow up's for 3 weeks I finally get a call that they need to come out once more. Setup appointment - no one shows up. 1hr after scheduled time I call the rep- he answers the phone enthusiastically, tone changes after he realizes he missed the appointment and goes on to say that he was in an accident. He was apologetic and said he would callback to setup another appointment. Yet to hear back.

Lack of communication and professionalism. If you don't want the service, be up front. As a client, should not need to follow up as much as I had done.
