We bought some items from a local auction house which these folks picked up, packed and shipped. Very easy and hassle free process. The packing job was superb and well worth the cost!!
We would highly recommend the Business and Shipping Center of Southbury to anyone and will use them again in the future.

Craig was wonderful following up with collecting items from a local auction house and preparing them for shipment. The objects were large scale and quite fragile. He packed them with. Extreme care and they arrived safely to Canada. I highly recommend them for fine art shipping and packaging!!

Great service! I had them pack and ship an 80+ year-old steamer trunk to Florida. The packing was a work of art—it was wrapped in layers of kraft paper, cardboard, and bubble wrap placed in a double-walled cardboard box surrounded by packing peanuts. The old trunk arrived with no damage whatsoever and on time. And the total cost was a lot less expensive than the UPS Store. Kudos to them!

If I can give a review of 0 stars I would.

This business was responsible for shipping a single baseball card weighing 4 ounces from Connecticut to New York and think that charging $12 for USPS Ground Advantage is reasonable. If I, a regular person were to ship the exact package from my address to theirs it would cost exactly $3.84. How and where are they factoring in their additional $9 to ship?

I was told that it is their time I am responsible for and their gas money to and from the auction house which is an hour long round trip. What else am I responsible for? Your car insurance payment? Your phone bill? Your brick-and-mortar overhead?
What other business expenses would you like to forward on to the customer?

I was also told that my single auction lot was not the only lot they picked up from the auction house, but one of many different auction lots. So not only are they gouging an individual, but many individuals and shipping many auction lots. How this shipping center warranting the cost it takes to package, buy a label, drive to pick up the item(s) by 3x?

Use caution with using this business. It will certainly cost any customer less to just ship whatever they need themselves.

I wish every shipping company were like them! I've used Business & Shipping Center of Southbury several times now as an out-of-state client and they have been so incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating, I really can't say enough good things about them. They've always packed my items with skill and care, no damaged items, and have catered to my specific needs including requesting my own freight shipping from their facility. Again, I wish there were more companies like them everywhere! Huge help to me and my small business!

I purchased a small item from Waterbury Liquidators and contacted the Business and Shipping Center to pick it up and mail it to me. I received it today, earlier than expected.
From start to finish, this process was handled professionally in every aspect. The packaging was more than what was needed for the item, showing that they took extra time and paid extra attention to my item. Extra tape, cardboard backing, secure. More than what was needed for what I purchased. The cost was what it should be, the timing was perfect and the customer service was excellent.
I can't give them a higher rating although they deserve more than perfect!

His expertise, professionalism and kindness have ensured his business success. He goes out of his way to make sure every customer is satisfied. We'd use no other place for our shipping needs.
