I depend on C&H for service and installation. Pleasant people to talk with, and they solved a problem with a heat auxiliary unit when they sent Roger Peak to diagnose. He found it needed to have a different input for power, as it was only hooked up for Heat Pump.
This was a pretty fast fix!

C&H Heating & Cooling completed installation of a Carrier Performance Series split gas furnace/AC replacement system in our home in April 2024. When our upstairs 23-year-old AC system evaporator coil began leaking, Rob Fretwell quickly provided us with clear, concise options and proposals with pricing for repairing vs replacing our old system, including options re our 32-year-old furnace. He has also been quite helpful in communicating with us as we navigated our choices, answering all of our myriad questions, as well as in assisting us with the information required for energy efficiency federal tax credits and TVA rebates. Our new system installation by Michael, Roger, Sam, and Charles could not have been more professional and efficient; these technicians are simply superb. For the past 9 years, we have also enjoyed excellent routine inspection and maintenance work for our existing units from Jake and others at C&H. Whether maintaining and servicing your current HVAC units or installing a new system, C&H is the professional choice for HVAC equipment installation and service; Mitch Parrish always ensures that you will receive superior quality service at a fair price. We recently had a blower motor on an older package HVAC unit to burn out just as we were leaving to fly out of town; one call to C&H, and even though we couldn’t be at home, our unit was repaired with a new blower motor before we had even landed at our destination—and thanks to C&H’s Comfort Plus maintenance contract and 10-year extended warranty, as well as Carrier’s parts warranty, there was no charge for their diagnostic service call, parts, or labor. We also recently had an issue with our older package system’s evaporator coil fan and compressor not running, and thus not cooling; after a quick call to C&H, their expert technician Jimmy came that same afternoon and quickly identified a loose wire connection as the culprit, completing the evaluation and repair and restoring our cooling in about an hour. What a secure feeling to have complete confidence in one’s HVAC service; we could not be more pleased with C&H, and we highly recommend their work.

Update 4/23/2025: When we recently purchased a new home with three 17 year old HVAC units and one of heat pump units (5 ton main floor) was found to be failing, of course we called upon C&H to install a new system and service the other 2 units to bring them up to speed. Brad Willis performed our pre-closing inspections and found problems in all three units; after closing, he expertly repaired the two repairable systems so that they are now operating properly; his system knowledge, skill and expertise are simply superb. Rob Fretwell worked with us to find the best replacement unit for the large failing unit, and assisted us immensely in qualifying for available rebates and tax credits. Tina Robinson had always been incredibly helpful and courteous in scheduling service appointments and answering our questions. And Ashley, Brian, Sam, with the assistance of several other technicians at various points, masterfully completed our rather difficult new unit installation into a crawl space with an elevated access entrance and a large obstructing pier, as well as placing the exterior condenser/compressor unit into a very tight space, with excellent results. They even solved a major issue with the old damaged poorly designed/located return register filter housing/grid by replacing it with a new one with a different orientation that makes replacing the filter much easier. We could not have asked for a better team to take care of our HVAC needs. Thanks to all the C&H team for a job well done!
