Three days ago marked the third week our trash hasn’t been picked up. Between my husband and me, we’ve called seven times, and each time, we were told an order would be placed to ensure pickup. However, our camera shows the truck driving right past our house every week without stopping.

We need service in Joplin, MO, and I’d like to know if we’ll receive a discount since we’ve paid for almost a months worth of service without receiving it. If this continues, I’m considering flagging down the truck in person and then canceling this service.

Edit** 3 weeks, 8 calls, 2 emails later, and no discount, we got our trash picked up. 👍 If this happens to you, make sure to call the beginning of the week. Our trash gets picked up on Thursday so we were calling those days and Fridays. Even though they said they'd pick it up over the weekend several times, they never did. It wasn't until the 3rd week that I called on a Monday and they picked it up on Tuesday.

This trash company is the worst trash company ever. I’ve had trash for over three weeks, and when I contacted one of the customer service reps, Crystal, She refused to do her job instead. She hung up on me twice, stating I was yelling at her. However, me raising my voice is the least of our problems. She does not want to make the company better. She wants to make it worse by lying to the customer. They stated a week ago that they would pick up the trash. As that week passed, I contacted customer service, and they said that I would have my trash picked up that Wednesday. Wednesday turned into Thursday; I spoke to no one management-wise later that evening on Friday. I finally got a hold of a manager. I don’t know the manager’s name, but she said someone would pick up my trash within 24 hours or 48 hours today. I reached out to him. That’s when Crystal hung up on me three times and reported that she would have someone contact me. She cannot look up any route routines to show I’m on a route. However, the dispatcher never called me back or made contact with me when they said they would have someone contact me. So I advise whoever is looking for some trash to be picked up by this company. The pricing might sound right, but the customer service is terrible, with no integrity, courtesy, or intention to help anybody. The world’s worst trash company is right here at your feet. this will make it the third week me having the trash. I will hope that I can send you a picture so everyone can see how terrible this company really is.

Service is late more than on time. If you have extra due to them being late you still have to call and tell them or they will not pick up the extra. It just left on the side of the road. Called to terminate service a week before the due date and I was told I cannot do that and I would have to make my payment and wait til December......not going to happen! Then when I tried to come to an agreement that I would keep service as long as I didn't have to call in every week because they are late and there will be extra trash I was told they cannot do that either. That even though the extra trash is their fault I will have to continuously call every week they are late to get all my trash picked up. The first photo is a couple weeks ago when they were a whole week late. Second in from Tuesday, supposed to be picked up Friday, and here we are again Friday and still have not received any service.

if i could put 0 stars, i would. i didn’t really have an issue with CARDS until about a month or two ago. they started picking up our trash a day later than when it was scheduled. our trash bin would then overflow with bags of trash. but what pushed my buttons was the fact that they started getting lazy. they came to pick up my trash and left the trash bin on the side of the road. it wasn’t just my trash bin either, it was the whole street! not only did they leave my trash bin and everyone else’s on the side of the road, but they left a bag of trash next to my trash bin. i had no trash bags outside of my trash bin. we stuff that trash bin and pile it up. we never leave it on the ground. but they didn’t even have the decency to throw it in the back of the garbage truck.

don’t sign up with this trashy trash company. -10/10 don’t recommend

The worst trash company in existence. Don't show up for weeks and still want paid for no service. Stay as far away as you can from them. Is there a way to leave less then zero stars? I would rate them a negative 5 stars.

I wish I could give 0 stars! Unhappy with their service, I cancelled my account. I was told I was paid up through January, but would get no refund for any of it if I chose to drop them. It was annoying, but I had already hired someone else, so I let it go. Just got an invoice today that I am being charged an ADDITIONAL $25 for the trash can pick up. They were already getting 5 free weeks out of me, with no refund, and now they need to steal more of my money for a garbage can removal? Nothing but money hungry crooks.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the ongoing lack of reliability and professionalism from Cards. Our trash pickups have been consistently delayed, sometimes for weeks at a time, with no communication or resolution. Reaching customer service is equally frustrating, with calls going unanswered even after waiting on hold for over 40 minutes.

Adding to the frustration is the company’s repeated, generic responses to negative Google reviews, stating, “We’d appreciate a chance to resolve this and ensure your service concerns are addressed. We take customer service seriously.” Unfortunately, those statements ring hollow. If Cards truly valued its customers, it would prioritize answering calls and resolving service issues, not simply managing optics through review responses. The time and resources spent responding to reviews would be better directed toward actually improving service.

This level of disregard is unacceptable. I strongly encourage others to consider alternative waste management providers, as Cards has shown a clear pattern of being both unresponsive and unreliable.

Worst trash company around! Always have to call to tell them to come pick up my trash, have even watched them stop right in front of my trash cart on pick up day, stare at the trash cart and drive off without picking up. We go several days without getting picked up! What your company is doing is stealing from customers when you FAIL to pick up our trash, when you’re getting paid to do just that!!!!!!! This company needs shut down!!!!!! It’s funny how you get on here and apologize to customers and ohhhhhh you’re gonna make it right, yet you guys can’t even do your job by picking up the FIRST time around!
