When the rains came in January, I discovered a leak in the roof of my 100-year-old home. The leak ruined the historic coved ceilings in our living room and created a mold problem. I called several construction companies to repair it that State Farm recommended. I chose CC&R because they were the only multiple winners of the "Golden Hammer" award, the restoration business top award nationally for best Customer Service and Quality. We are overjoyed with the results of the repairs (their team had a plaster expert and a mold expert), and they got rid of all of the mold due to the damage.

Most importantly, they helped me negotiate the complete restoration with the insurance company, which tried to underestimate the claim!!! Thanks, Bill, Brett, and the entire team. I highly recommend CC&R for any job! They are the best!

CCR exceeded my expectations with restoring my home back to pristine condition after a pinhole leak. The leak went undetected for a long time, resulting in considerable damage. I contacted Brett who was out the next day to assess the damage. Within 48 hours, he turned around a thoroughly documented estimate. Peter, the project coordinator, assigned a crew to begin the repairs about a week later. Work started on a Tuesday and was completely wrapped up by Friday. Jorge, the carpenter, showed up on time, kept the work area spotless, and restored the damaged area 'like it never happened'.

Highly recommend CCR if you're looking for a restoration contractor!

I have nothing but positive things to say about working with CC&R Construction. I feel so fortunate to have been directed to them by USAA. Brett interfaced really well with USAA and negotiated with them to get everything done that was needed. I had a roof and dining room ceiling that needed to be replaced as a result of the heavy rains and winds we had last January.
Brett was so responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful. I can’t imagine going through the project without his assistance. I felt confident that he would take care of whatever bumps in the road there might be. There were a few that came up with an outside contractor and he did just that.
Peter and his crew were exceptional and wonderful to work with. They were friendly, came on time, worked hard, and cleaned up every day. There was a lot of attention to detail. The roof looks better now than it ever has due to some solutions to problems that they came up with. They again attended to detail with the work done in replacing the ceiling in the dining room.
I found CC&R Construction to be fair and honest, and so easy to work with. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

CC&R continues to disappoint. Very unprofessional, hard to get a hold of, and never shows up on time. I trusted them with working on my floor while I was out of town and thank goodness with smart home system, I was able to check and close my door that they left open after they left for the day. Then they tripped my outlet and had my chest freezer off for 2 weeks. Came home to a nasty freezer. A month later, they still have not completed the job and they keep promising to complete the job. Just get this done so I can move on please. Too bad that I took USAA’s recommendation to go with this company.

The fact that at least six of the five-star reviews here are from the company's owners or employees pretending to be customers tells you they are dishonest and have no ethics. (Brett Covington, Bill Covington, Edgar Bautista, Tracy Popp, Alex Cismanis, Peter Keating) So I guess it shouldn't be surprising that when their workers, who smoked weed in front of the house during their lunch break, damaged my home during installation, they refused to take responsibility or rectify the situation. If only I'd known how lacking in character these people are, I never would have hired them.
