Reviews of Central Church - Kingman

Central Church in Kingman is a fantastic place that truly embodies a welcoming community and a sense of belonging. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth and kindness, making it easy to feel at home, even on your first visit.
One of the highlights is the live music—it’s energetic, contemporary, and really sets a vibrant tone for the service. If you enjoy dynamic worship, you’ll love it here. The services are streamed from the broadcast church in Henderson, so you’re always getting high-quality, engaging messages every week.
Central offers a variety of ministries, and one of the most impactful is Celebrate Recovery. This program isn’t just for those struggling with addictions; it’s for anyone with hurts, habits, or hang-ups. The church’s motto, “It’s okay not to be okay,” reflects their commitment to creating a safe space where people can find healing and support.
Getting involved is another huge plus! Volunteering at Central has been a rewarding experience for me, from helping with special events to church repairs. It’s a great way to deepen your faith and feel more connected to the community.
One thing to note: parking can be challenging, so it’s best to come early to secure a good spot. Despite this, the overall experience is well worth it.
Overall, Central Church is more than just a place of worship; it's a community that feels like family. I highly recommend it to anyone in the Kingman area looking for a church to call home, especially if you enjoy contemporary services.

Wow, I didn't think a so called house of worship/God would people be racist !
This is why I stopped coming here, it was like a slap in the face ! I don't remember now, years ago, he was giving a sermon or talking about a Bible scripture and at the end he was shaking everyone's hand but when he saw not only was I ignored, bypassed completely, felt really bad, and of course he never shook my hand ! Nobody should have to feel this way at all ! And what is their motto, "it's okay not to be okay," yeah Racists !

Worship is like a rock concert. Older people would benefit from ear plugs. The worship is a good performance, though. The singers are rehearsed which tells me they take the time to learn the music and leading others into worship is important to them.
The local pastor is energetic, and yet humble. The message is, Biblical. It's done by video. The head pastor is out of Henderson, NV. He shows up on screen. I joke he is 14' tall. It's different but they must be doing something right. The church just celebrated 60 years of service!!
There is a children's church, a youth group and plenty of activities during the week for adults. They are a "Celebrate Recovery" location ( Think AA with a Christian component).
When you go you will see a church in how it should be, imperfect, working towards holiness.

This should be more spirituel experience rather than just attending a church and not doing anything to contribute I completely understand that it is not my authority to release hatred but i do agree with the fact that they welcome everyone as in the bible it states you shall love the sinner but not the sin. I just feel that they should touch more on God and the word and sing true gospel rather then pop you should feel the presence of the holy spirit with you at that time.

Truthfully it's been year's since I have attended in person, so my review is late in coming however I always enjoyed attending. The people are super friendly, open, and welcoming. I still encourage and recommend people to check out this place.

We loved this church. It had a great atmosphere. It was a great mix of all ages, and a noticeably large number of young families. I especially liked their motto, "Its OK to not be OK. " GREAT CHURCH
