I have been a loyal customer of Central Connecticut Coatings for 3 years. Powder coating various car parts during projects. Most recently(2/14/25) with a set of factory alloy rims for my pristine 01 Grand Cherokee. CCC’s work in preparation and finish is meticulous including removal of “curb rash”- I was again blown away. Great price and worth the 2 week wait. Many thanks to Justin and his entire shop team- thank you!!

These guys charged me an absurd amount for a very small frame that took up space no less than my small trunk. They then proceeded to tell me that the wait would be 3 weeks!!! Are you insane I was not going to wait 3 weeks to get a small frame painted and especially for the price they wanted me to pay. I would expect it to be finished within a week at most. They had my frame thrown out in the middle of the entrance as if it were a price of junk ready to get scraped. Very poor attention to detail and saw another customers bike in the corner collecting dust. They dinged and scratched my frame which they were not going to repair. When I wanted to receive my estimate for the insanely priced paint the big guy who was running around all stressed told me he doesn’t do pricing!!! So then I’m like who does the pricing then? He proceeds to call his boss and handle business over a phone. Not very professional and whoever runs this place needs to work more on training skills and pay a lot more attention to detail.

Won’t be coming by anytime soon. Highly suggest you stop by another shop who will give better prices up front!!!

I had a set of four OEM-style, aluminum rims which had a bit of oxidation on them. Justin had to coat them a total of four times due to the finish not aligning with his expectations. He was very diligent and conscientious in ensuring that they came out perfect. If you ever require powder coating services, this is the place to go. Their honesty and commitment to doing the job correctly despite having to put in extra time was outstanding. Not to mention, the wheels came out great!

I had a wall heater that worked well but looked horrible. It was a small job but they were happy to help. They made it look better than new. Excellent quality and service. I would highly recommend.
