Edit: Clayton Homes replied to my post and yet again is lying. They didn't max out our budget for the home we were purchasing. I have over 20 emails back-and-forth regarding the cost breakdown. Each email from them was a back peddling of their previous explanation of fees. Their reply doesn't even make sense. How would I have bought a house at the same cost if Clayton went over my budget. I used the same lender and didn't have any additional funding either. Try try again.

Make sure you get straight answers on the cost breakdown for your home. They changed their story multiple times when it came to costs. Not to mention, they flat out lied I'm regards to the roof requirements. That, of course, was to get us to buy the more expensive product. When I pointed that out they told me, "After talking with my management team, we have decided that we are not a good fit and we feel there is now a trust factor moving forward.". Which was true. I didn't trust them because they were being shifty. 100% don't go to them for a home. There is a new company in PV called Southwest Homes and they have been fantastic. I got a better home than I would have gotten from Clayton for the same price. It would have been cheaper but we upgraded for things we wanted. Not only that but they were straight forward with the costs and upfront about everything.

I wouldn't recommend Clayton homes to a fly and have since met a number of people that have had bad experiences with them.

Untrustworthy is one of the nice things I could say about them. Make sure to check EVERYTHING if you go to them.

Life has ups and downs and the home buying process is very similar. Clayton homes in Chino Valley seemed to understand that in a post covid era things can move erratically and they worked with me and my family to keep us updated. Tim and his crew went above and beyond to make sure our concerns were addressed and any repairs were handled quickly and professionally. Even going as far as to advocate for us when we faced additional delays in the closing process.

We just closed on our new home. I cannot say enough nice things about Clayton Homes. They were attentive. There was a minor issue with the house when we moved in, but they had a service person in a truck 10 minutes after I called. Absolutely A+ service. I'm so happy and appreciative. We love our new home.

I went into Clayton homes with the hopes of gaining information and looking at some of their model homes. I was greeted by Matt and informed of some of their promotions, I explained my families situation and what we were looking for and Matt was able to answer many of the questions I had regarding several aspects of the process before I really even asked them. He took his time to show me the models that fit what I was looking for, let me know about options, and gave me the names of people to get in contact with to start the process smoothly. Despite not being ready to move forward that day, and even after informing Matt that I would be returning with my husband at a later date, I always felt that I was receiving his full attention and never rushed while working together, and everyone we came in contact with was friendly and helpful. My family will definitely be returning to work with Matt for the purchase of our home at Clayton Homes.

Being a 2x modular/mobile home owner over past 18 years, I must say .... Clayton Homes was the most positive, informative visit I've had. Accompanied my daughter who is looking to re-establish in AZ from CO. Matt O. was absolutely fabulous!!! He was attentive and very informative in our hour long visit. Matt was able to answer two of her most pressing questions without her even asking!! Really was a very positive and informative encounter. Quality of homes was impressive!!! Thanks Matt!!!

My sales person, Elisa, was extremely thorough and knowledgeable about the home she showed me today. We looked at the Summit model and she was quick to inform me of all the ecological benefits as well as where changes and upgrades could be made. Overall it was a pressure free and charming experience that has shown me this is a company that cares and will work with their customers to help them find their dream home! I couldn’t recommend using Clayton Homes and especially Elisa any to help you find your dream home any higher!!

Five star service. I was so concerned when my parents paid cash to buy a Clayton home. But 2 years later, Claytom continues to treat my parents well. Clayton genuinely cares about their product and clientele. Please folks go to Clayton to purchase your mobile homes. You deserve the Clayton Quality!
