We had the pleasure of dining at Con Murphy's during our stay at The Windsor Suites, as the restaurant is conveniently attached. It’s an Irish pub with amazing food and fantastic service. We were so impressed, we had both dinner and breakfast here—and both experiences were outstanding!

Dinner:
We started with the crab dip and loaded nachos, and both were absolutely to die for—served at the perfect temperature and packed with flavor. For our entrées, I ordered the bangers and mash, which was excellent, and my husband had the teres major. Though his steak initially came out closer to medium well instead of medium rare, as ordered, our server quickly resolved the issue without hesitation, bringing the correct temperature steak, which was phenomenal. Dessert was equally delightful: I had the Godiva chocolate crème brûlée, which was light yet indulgent, and my husband enjoyed the dolce banana bread pudding. Everything was top-notch.

A special shout-out to our amazing waitress, Latoya H. She was attentive, sweet, and gave excellent recommendations. Her service truly enhanced our evening—she deserves a raise!

Breakfast:
The next morning, we had the brioche French toast and the breakfast sandwich, and once again, the food was phenomenal. Our server Michael was kind, patient, and an absolute joy to interact with so early in the day.

If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and visit Con Murphy's. From the exceptional food to the incredible staff, this place exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!

Went here for breakfast because it was attached to the hotel. The food was good! Just a touch tooooo salty though. But service was excellent!

The food was delightful to the point the pictures are after we started eating. Super delicious beef short rib Mac and Cheese!! Crowded atmosphere like you’d expect at a pub which isn’t the best when you’re sitting down for sooner. Amazing staff super friendly and helpful on what to order!

i went here for the first time during restaurant week. and i just came here to say: that braised lamb shank. was life changing. im tearing up just thinking about it. i looked at the regular menu online for fun afterwards and i didn’t see it on there though!!! you guys should really consider making it a regular item. the other food was great too!!!!! and i had the bees knees drink which was soooo good. but i will be having dreams about this lamb shank. gone but not forgotten.

My grandad was also Con Murphy, so I had to come here when in Philadelphia. Really nice spot right in the middle of town, on the Franklin Parkway. The Guinness was very good, served to me by an Irish lad, and the Philly Cheese Steak was top class. Highly recommended as an authentic Irish pub, from an Irish person who is very picky. 🤣👌

Went here late in the night, like an hour before close and the staff was very welcoming, granted, there were only two other patrons there. The service was great and the beer was cold. I have no complaints about the price, sometimes in large cities prices go up to an unreasonable amount but this was not the case. The place is small but the atmosphere was great, I am sure it’s a blast when there are more people there. My complements to the bartender who was stocking and serving but still keeping up with the customers.
