This is a place I still come to when my family and I want a day away! It’s completely free and mostly outdoor with Plenty of walking..there is a working blacksmith , a train, an old school house , and yes..a rock museum, and a old stationary train that my children still enjoy! There is a building with old machinery and another with fire trucks..so much history here…sometimes even the staff have interesting vehicles…
Finally , it’s right near the falls so stop in and make it a day!! A Great place to take the whole family!

First time here with even a tour! A lovely elder gentleman took us on a private tour. He was great and very informative. The place is quite large with a bunch of out buildings with tractors, locomotives, school house, mining building and a saw mill. It takes donations. They had a gift shop to and my kids really enjoyed picking out minerals in the mining building. They did a great job with the place. Clean and to the point information.

If you like antique machinery, trains, steam engines, tractors, or just find tangible history fascinating, then this is the place to go! Close to Kent Falls, Bull's Bridge, and Kent center with its shops, bookstore, and restaurants, it is a great way to spend a fall day.

It is an amazing collection of anrique machinery. Everything in the working condition. Lots of history of American industy. All kings of machinery starting from olg trains and going into farming machines. Some from 1900,1915,and some are from 1940-1950. Great museum to visit. Also beautiful nature with river, and trees with folage colored leaves.
